"We need a plan as soon as possible." Jimin started. "Suggestions are up for consideration. We have no room for mistakes."
They all sat at the conference room. It was about 10AM and it was obvious everyone couldn't stay put with the given situation. In one's case though, she barely slept a wink. Aera quietly yawned, Namjoon catching sight of her.
"You didn't sleep well?" Namjoon whispered. Aera nodded before resting her cheek on her palm.
"If it's like what Namjoon said, for sure he won't recognize us. We don't know what kind of brainwashing Taehyung did." Jin said. "What if we try showing a picture of Aera to him? It worked with Namjoon didn't it?"
"It's a long shot but remember what he knows is Aera is dead." Jisung reminded.
"I can try to do it. As of now Taehyung know's I'm with my prey. I can try to undo the brainwashing on him." Namjoon said. "I can also tell Yoongi the situation and he can help. He's the one who tried to bring me back to reality."
"That's our first step then. Once we deal with Jungkook how do we deal with Taehyung?" Hoseok asked. "We should hit him with something that'll give him a reality check."
"I think if we decipher his diary it'll give us a hint." Aera said. "Jimin said that it's written in the alphabet from a children's book right? Why don't we search through his book there and after let Joon decipher it."
"Are you alright with it?" Jisung looked at her husband worriedly. She knew how sensitive he was when it came to going through Taehyung's room.
"If it helps then why not?" Jimin said.
"To make it clear, we try to get Jungkook back to himself and if we succeed, we regroup. If we don't, we proceed to the confrontation and just hope for the best?" Namjoon repeated. "What are we going to do if we fail to get him to himself and fail to stop Taehyung?"
"I'm sorry to say this Aera, but the only possibility we have is to kill both of them." Jimin said. Aera's eyes widened as she wanted to disagree, but she knew his reasoning.
Even if she did fight for him and he doesn't come back it's basically risking the lives of everyone else.
Jin shushed everyone and pointed to the TV. Hoseok turned up the volume.
"Breaking news, a massacre had just occurred in a village on the outskirts of the city. The village was left in ruin as the metallic smell could be smelled at least a mile away." The newscaster announced. Footage of what the village looked like now was shown in black and white. The corpse although blurred anyone can make out that they were mutilated. "As of now, the suspects have not been identified and the council are on the search. As of now, this is the only lead we have on the criminal."
On the wall of one of the houses on the village was a message written in blood.
"You lost." Namjoon laughed. "Fuck you too Kim Taehyung."
"We're too late." Jin sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "At this rate, even if we're able to save Jungkook he'll be executed for his crimes."
"We have you and Jimin for things like this Jin. You can pull your strings the same way you did with Hoseok." Jisung assured. "For now I can try to open my old spell book and try to find any way to help. You guys distribute the work amongst yourselves."
"I have a question." Aera spoke up. "How did they break him out of his trauma before they sealed him away?"
"Taehyung was the one who found him back then but that's just what I heard." Jimin answered. "I heard there was someone else but I'm not sure."
