Aera dusted her hands, a satisfied smile on her face. She had finishing arranging the bouquet for today with the help of Jisung.

"They look beautiful." Jisung said. "He'll definitely love them."

"Thank you." Aera gathered the things and walked towards the door. "I have yo see Jimin real quick, you go on ahead."

"I think he's in the room near the stairs at the second floor." Jisung said. "Don't get lost."

"I won't don't worry." Aera assured. Although she had said that, it seemed that she lost her way. She cursed the size of the palace. "Why would you have such a big palace when it's only you and your wife."

The flickering of a light caught her attention. As old as the castle was it isn't impossible that someone had passed away here. If vampires were real then ghosts are too.

"Ghost if you're in this room with me and angry make a sound."

A loud bang echoed in the hall. Aera wasted no time and broke into a sprint, not noticing Jimin's loud laughter. She ran into a random room, closing the door behind her. She sighed as she tried to catch her breath.

She felt the heavy atmosphere in the room. It was lonely as if no one had been here for years. Well, not surprising but she would expect at least maids to come here and clean. The room was covered in a thick layer of dust. She approached the desk and found a notebook on top of it.

"I can't understand this." Aera frowned. By the format of the pages she could make out that it  was a diary.

"This was Taehyung's room." Jimin said, suddenly popping up. Aera nearly jumped out of her skin at the sight of him. "I never really let anyone in. I refused to let anyone clean it ever since that night."

Now that Aera looked around she saw how messy the room was— the sheets were scattered on the floor, the mattress was flipped over and torn, children's books were barely on the shelf.

"He wrote in that using a language from a children's book. I tried to decode it but it when it was translated I found out it was encrypted. The last entry is when he was supposed to be executed. I guess he didn't have time to write it the way he wanted." Jimin laughed. "Anyway, I'm sorry for scaring you. The things you've asked for are in the courtyard."
