The girls in Aera's class were basically fawning over Jungkook. It slightly upset the girl to her surprise. What didn't help though was Jungkook sat in front of her and she was suddenly pushed away by his fangirls.
"Hoseok please explain what's happening." Aera said.
"While I was teaching Jungkook, Namjoon suddenly came over and I just told him Jungkook doesn't remember who he is and where he's from." Hoseok explained. "He decided to ask Seokjin for help and got him enrolled here for the time being."
"Thanks for not letting him be." Aera said. She felt an arm rest on her head. She looked up and saw Namjoon using her as an arm rest. "Excuse me I'm not an arm rest."
"Sorry Doll Face, you're small enough to be one though." Namjoon teased. He smiled, his dimples greeting her. "He looked a little too rough so I offered him a haircut and whatever he wanted."
"How come you didn't tell me?" Aera mumbled.
"You were sleeping by the time I came home yesterday." Namjoon answered. "I thought it would be a nice surprise."
Meanwhile, Jungkook hated the attention he was given. He wanted to curl up into a ball and disappear into thin air. He hated being this close to girls. He didn't feel comfortable with the way they were looking at him.
"E-excuse me." Jungkook mumbled as he pushed past the ground. He made a beeline towards the trio that sat behind him. "Why are they staring at me like that?"
"You're quite the looker man it's not a surprise they're fawning over you." Hoseok answered.
"I don't like other girls, I only like Aera." Jungkook mumbled. "She doesn't look at me like I'm some kind of painting."
"She's an alien immune to handsome boys." Hoseok joked. Aera elbowed him a little too hard, making the vampire double over in pain.
"H-how does it look Aera?" Jungkook asked.
"It suits you really well. I think you're the handsomest in our class right now." Aera commented.
"I thought I was your handsomest classmate." Namjoon fake pouted. Aera brushed him off with a giggle.
"Since it's lunch break, why not eat at the rooftop? I can call Taehyung over." Aera suggested. "The more friends the merrier right?"
"As long as I can get away from the girls." Jungkook said. Hoseok laughed while Namjoon continued to tease him. Aera rolled her eyes and took out her lunchbox. She quickly texted Taehyung.
"Enough with the the teasing guys let's go." Aera said. The four walked up to the rooftop and found Taehyung waiting for them there.
"I see there's new blood. Pleased to meet you!" Taehyung greeted. He extended his hand towards Jungkook who didn't hesitate to shake it. It was what Hoseok taught him.
"Nice to meet you too." Jungkook said. His smile twitched slightly as a sense of familiarity hit him. "Have I seen you before? You look so familiar."
"Really? It's my first time seeing you." Taehyung said.
"Bear with him Tae, he has amnesia." Namjoon explained. Taehyung's mouth formed an "o" as he nodded.
"I hope you remember everything soon." Taehyung said. They all settled down and began to eat. Their lunch period was long, two hours at most.
Their group was lively, talking about random things. Aera smiled at their liveliness. At some point, even Jin eventually joined them. She sat a bit farther from the rest as she had her nose deep into one of the books Taehyung gave her.
"Why don't you join us?" Namjoon asked. Aera shook her head.
"I'm more in the mood to read right now. I'll stick to listening." She said. Namjoon nodded and left her be.
Jungkook noticed their closeness and held back a frown. For some reason, he didn't like seeing them too close. He wanted to keep Aera to himself but didn't know how to.
"You okay buddy?" Taehyung asked. Jungkook shrugged, his eyes still on Aera. "I see, you like Noona don't you? You have to work hard, Namjoon-hyung is one of the biggest rivals you have among her suitors."
"How do you know you like someone?" Jungkook asked.
"You'll know it when you experience something. Your heart beats fast and you can't help but think about her all the time." Taehyung answered. "Don't think about it too much, just eat!"
"Yah, Kim Taehyung don't hog all the strawberries!" Jin exclaimed. Taehyung stuck his tongue out and pulled the Tupperware of strawberries towards him.
The two bickered until Hoseok confiscated the sweet fruit. The argument settled down and the group began talking about upcoming school events.
"I heard there's going to be a prom! Isn't that exciting?" Jin asked.
"Yeah, if you have a date." Hoseok snorted. "Why not go together? We won't have dates after all."
"I don't know guys, I have someone in mind." Namjoon said.
"I do too." Jungkook added.
"Oh? You've taken a liking to a girl already?" Hoseok asked, surprised. Jungkook nodded, a blush spreading across his pale cheeks. Before anyone could ask anymore, he changed the topic.
"Hoseok, I didn't see you eat. Aren't you hungry?" Jungkook asked.
"Oh, don't worry. Vampires can't eat human food." Hoseok assured. "Which leads me to think Aera is secretly a vampire since I rarely see her eat."
The group laughed at the joke, but Aera slapped the back of Hoseok's head and began scolding him. The girl was unaware of the curious yet loving stare that two of the men there gave her.
She wasn't even aware of the intense glare of one of the people in their circle.

He couldn't help but let the food he 'ate' come back up. He coughed and gagged as he bent over the toilet.
After all, Vampires/Nightwalkers couldn't digest human food.
"Isn't that what you get for playing a little too friendly with the humans, My Lord?" The short figure asked. His red eyes shined as he looked down at the younger boy in amusement.
"Shut up." The tall boy growled. He let out the last few contents of his stomach before sighing and leaning against the tiled wall. "It's your fault for not wearing a mask."
"I see you've made yourself quite comfortable with them. Disgusting." The short boy remarked. "What's your plan now? Kill them?"
"No, it's too soon for that." He said. His eyes turned pink as the bitter feeling of hate filled his veins. "I want to mess with them— kill them slowly."
"If that's what you wish, My Lord." The short boy mumbled.
"Everything is going according to plan."
The pieces were beginning to fit.
