Terror.
Anger.
Hatred.
Hurt.
Betrayal.
The little boy screamed the pain, not caring if he were to be caught. He had enough. He has accepted his death.
The mysterious boy proved to be dangerous.
It was because of the existence of that mysterious boy that his mother was killed in cold blood before his eyes.
It was because of that mysterious boy why he was a fugitive now, suspected to be just like him— a threat to the world. He hated how he was tied to him by blood.
He ran as fast as his legs could take him as the tears streamed down his face. He was a pitiful sight to anyone who would have seen him.
He tripped over the root of a tree and rolled on the ground until he hit a rock. His body ached and burned too much for him to move again. His throat was hoarse from all the shouting he had done.
He heard rustling nearby and knew it probably was one of the palace guards. The command by the newly appointed king was to kill him on the spot.
Funny how that king was his uncle.
He was unsure whether his Father was still alive or if he had been executed already. As for the monster, he didn't know what they did to him but he hoped that he rot in hell.
"Mom... Dad... Save me..." The little boy croaked. He shook terribly as he longed for his parents' comfort.
But it was too late.
His uncle is now the new king and his cousin who is the same age as him will take his spot as the heir. After all, no one has ever seen his face so they can get away with it.
"This... is all...your fault... H—"
The little boy felt himself slip away from consciousness as a weird odor filled his nose. A familiar figure shadowed him from the moon's light.

He forced his eyes open, confused as to what happened. He was sure that he had died that night and was willing to stay dead.
"You're finally awake. It's been a decade." A grumpy voice greeted. He was glad to hear his favorite servant's voice. The little boy shot up and snapped his head left and right. "Don't worry squirt, you're just in my living quarters. You're safe here. Everyone thinks you're dead anyway."
"What happened?" The little boy asked.
"I found you and took you here. After that, I turned in your half bro—"
"He is not my brother!" The little boy snapped.
"The monster was turned in and I resigned. From what I know he was taken care of." He said. "Your uncle, Park Hojin was assigned as new king and his son Jimin will take your place as the heir."
The little boy's blood boiled. He wanted to kill them all. He wanted to avenge his family.
He wanted to kill the monster.
"Why did you resign?" The little boy asked.
"I only serve your father, and now you're the only one left. To me you are my king." He bowed down. "What is you command, my Lord?"
The little boy found his mask and took it. Due to it breaking, it was a bit smaller.
"I want my revenge."
