Em POV:
I jumped abruptly awake, the sound of my ringtone giving me a start.
"Hello?" I greeted, still half asleep.
"You sound like you've just woke up." The voice of Freya Nightingale chuckled.
"Thanks for pointing that out. It's because I have." I rubbed my eyes, sitting up to see the Sun's attempt at pouring in through my curtains."Fucking hell - it's 3pm! What time did you get to sleep last night?" She exclaimed.
"I don't remember. I was editing, though, and it was raining when I went to sleep." I yawned.
"Jesus, it was raining at half six in the morning! It woke me up, believe it or not." Freya told me.
"Hey - it's 3pm?" My brain clocked.
"I was calling to ask weather you were ready for me to come and pick you up." She laughed. "I'll give you an hour or so before I set off, then?"
"I'd appreciate that." I couldn't help but smile."You have fireworks?"
"Nope." I sighed in realisation. "I'll go to Sainsbury's and pick up some before you get here." I swung my legs out of bed.
"I found some, like, big long sparklers in my cupboard that I'm going to bring." She said.
"Shit, that's a banging shout."Before long, we'd ended the conversation and I'd been and bought fireworks after getting ready. I dressed in an oversized white tee, which I tucked into cropped black plaid trousers. My hair was in double dutch braids from the day before, and when I got the text to tell me that Freya was in the car park I pulled on a deep brown pair of Dr Marten's and grabbed my black The North Face bomber jacket.
"Yo." I opened the car door. "Oh, you're vlogging."
"Yes, indeed I am." Freya grinned, adjusting the camera slightly.
"I got the fireworks!" I tried on a cheery tone for the vlog, holding up the bag.
"What one's did you get?" She asked, beginning the ten minute drive.
"I got a big fountain box, a couple of rockets and a Cathrine Wheel." I counted on my hand.
"Oi! I rate that." She nodded, "Cathrine Wheels are fucking sick."
"Innit! They're my favourite." I agreed."Wonder who's lighting them?" Freya thought aloud, turning into the estate of the almighty Sidemen House.
"Won't be me or Ebony - that's for sure. We'll be the clumsiest people there." I laughed.
"That's true." She giggled. "I don't think JJ should be trusted, either."
"Oh, definitely shouldn't be let near a lighter." I seconded."I wish that I lived in a house as big as this." I sighed, exiting the car.
"Lord, imagine. Like Team 10 style." Freya shook her head.
"Fuck that! We'd be loads better than Team 10! Fuck Jake Paul, remember?" I smirked, speaking to her camera. "I mean, I suppose the Sidemen House is like the British version of the Team 10 House. But smaller and we are just better in every way, to be honest."
"I don't want to start any shit, Em! Try and keep your mouth shut, bitch!" She laughed.
"Who's going to come for me? Fucking Jerika?" I grinned."Hi, guys." Tobi answered the door.
"Hey!" Freya stepped inside before I did.
"Cheeze, it's warm in here." I exclaimed, following the two through to the living area.
"Yo!" JJ yelled, waving at me.
"Guess who brought fireworks!" I rattled the bag that I was holding, receiving various oohs and ahhs."Josh, I nominate you to light them." Flo's drinking hand - currently occupied by a large iced coffee - motioned over to the bearded man. Her head was resting on my brother's chest, who was propped up against a bean bag.
"Why me?" He questioned.
"You can play Dad, innit." She smiled.
"Oi, fuck off." Josh retorted, sending an eruption of laughter around the room.I looked at the happy faces. Ebony was on the sofa next to Gee - they were chatting away happily as Freya joined them, taking her place in between them and Josh. Tobi sat himself on the other side of Josh, and JJ and Florence had taken to the floor due to lack of space.
