Third Person POV:
One could say that Natalia Haddock was, well, broken by the breakup of her and Simon Minter.
It broke her because of how she was mentally unable to cope with how she'd fucked up, and big time.
So, she flipped everything over, and played the victim card. Drowning in her own sorrows every day was the usual, and the only people that stood by her during this entire scenario were her close family, Duncan himself, and - of course - Cal.
Speaking of whom, their plan, unfortunately, was going smoothly.
Cal: Have sorted the text messages, what's our next move?
Talia: You need to find out what's happening in their lives. Gatherings, holidays, events, whatever but we need to pinpoint when everyone's in London together and we'll go from there.
Cal: Okay. I'll find out and get back to you as soon as I can.
Talia: Good.
Cal: I'm seeing Em tomorrow, so I'll ask her then and let you know.
a/n:
this is just a short chapter to lead on from chapter thirty six.
i'll have to admit - i hate writing about talia and cal being the bad guys! i simply adore the pair of them to pieces but ahh...
nevertheless i love writing this book. i can't wait for it to be finished and for everyone to see the final product!
thanks for reading,
