Em POV:

"They're expecting us, right?" I asked, almost nervous to be meeting everyone again for the first time since June.
"Yeah, of course. I texted them when we set off." Grayson assured, turning into the estate where his house was.
"How have you all been?" I asked, a smile tugging at my lips.
"We've all been great, actually. Obviously James has been hard at work with his new makeup shiz, but Ethan and I are same old same old, really. And, if anything, Emma's happier." He summed up, pulling onto his driveway. We both exited the car, Gray did so quicker than I did and opened the boot as I shut the passenger door.

"SHE'S HERE!" The familiar voice of Ethan Dolan filled my ears.
"AH! SISTER EM'S COME BACK TO US!" James exclaimed. I turned around.
"EMMYYYYYYY!" Emma charged towards me, a massive smile on her face as she threw her arms around me, "I've missed you so much."
"I've missed you too, baby." I had to bite my lip to stop myself from crying a little.

As ironic as it is, I do see Emma as a little sister of mine. Obviously not blood related, but we love each other the most. I'm sort of protective over her, which is a feeling I've never had before - growing up with two older brothers had its benefits, I suppose.

"How are you doing?" Ethan walked towards me, grin on his face, and briefly hugged me, one handed.
"Alright." I breathed a long but happy breath out.
"And where's my hug?" James jokingly asked; as if I would miss him out.
"Right here, sister!" I flung my arms around him, and he did the same, pulling me towards him, giggling in response.
"Missed your face the most, Em." He smiled, pulling away from the cuddle.
"Was that a makeup reference?" I raised an eyebrow, smirking nevertheless.
"We have the PCA's to go to while you're here - of course I'm making you up for it!"
"What the fuck? I completely forgot about that." I slapped my forehead.

"They're not for another two days, though. What should we do before then?" Grayson pointed out, walking towards the house. We followed.
"How about we start with unpacking?" Emma asked.
"I can't unpack when I'm here, melon." I laughed, "I'm staying with you."
"Oh, well, yeah." She laughed at her own stupidity.

-

"Hi sisters! James Charles here, and welcome back to my YouTube channel." James spoke to the camera.

Already, his own face was decked out in makeup. Prior to that, he'd had me give him my foundation, concealer and contour for him to use on me. Thankfully, he'd approved them all.

I'd also asked for him specifically to use one of Jeffree's skin frosts in Giza. It matched my skin perfectly and had purplish, burgundy hues going through it for an extra edge.

I don't know. That's what they told me it looks like, anyway.

"So today I am going to be doing Sister Em's makeup for the People's Choice Awards. This is your first year going, right?" James continued.
"That's right, yeah."
"What are you nominated for?"
"Social Star Of 2018." I nodded.
"Ethan and Gray better watch out." He laughed.
"I'm coming for your game, lads!" I flashed a grin.

Before I knew it, my eyes had been transformed into a beautiful storm of silver, maroon and purple colours - I had a sharper jawline and defined cheeks, along with coloured lips.

"Thank you so much, James! I look beautiful, wow..." I gave him a hug before marvelling at the look in the mirror. "This was so fun!"
"Right?"
"Fuck yeah!"

"I guess we'll see you..." James began after reciting his usual lines.
"At the PCA's!" I cut in.
"Yeah! Bye kitty girls." He waved at the camera.

As soon as it was turned off, I begged the question:
"James, how do you do this every day?"
"I just do, really. I mean, I've always found makeup fun so it doesn't seem as much like a chore to me as it does to you. But I'll tell you this - it's fucking work, sweetie." He explained, shaking his head.
"Why did that take three hours, James?" I pleaded, raking my fingers through my hair.

"Lord, I have so much admiration for you." I shook my head.
"But, then again, I can't understand how you play soccer-"
"Football."
"-in pretty much every video! Like, hello! Effort." James went into diva mode.
"I love football, though." I told him.
"Ya, I'm the same with... What are we doing? We need to get dressed and everything, what?" He suddenly turned.

"Listen, okay, you get dressed now whilst I do my hair." I placed my hands on his shoulders in an attempt to slightly calm him down.
"B-But..."
"I promise we won't be late, James." I assured.
"Okay, yeah. Sure." He took a deep breath, and strutted to his bedroom. I followed, however stopping at a mirror to sort my hair. I tried backcombing it for more volume, and that sort of worked. I tried a messy bun, but my hair's that thick it broke the bobble.

Fuck. I knew I should've brought scrunches.

After more attempts to style myself, I eventually gave up - instead grabbing a plain black bandana, rolling it up so it was a couple of centimetres thick and wrapping that around my head, tying it in a bow at the front.

"Can I come in, James?" I yelled, knocking on his door.
"Uh... Yah, I suppose." He replied with uncertainty.
"Well, can I or not?"
"Sure. Come in." James decided, so I opened the door.

"Oh my God you look peng as fuck!" I marvelled. He was dressed top to toe in Sisters Apparel, and it looked as if it was custom designed: a white jumpsuit with the logo on every strap.
"Peng?" He looked at me as if I was something alien.
"Pretty. Nice. Beautiful!" I briefed.
"Thank you, sister!" He gave me a hug.
"Now, sort your hair out whilst I get dressed." I told him as he left the room.
"Okay!"

Sighing as I sat on the bed, I looked down at my nails, freshly done from the day before. They were very light blue with chrome tips, filed into a coffin shape. Somehow they hadn't chipped; well, not just yet. I had a redddish brown suit to wear with shoes that matched the blue of my nails. They were heels, believe it or not, just high enough that I could walk in them.

I dressed in this attire, making sure that the crease in my trousers was in the right place, and checking that my makeup hadn't smudged onto my white tee shirt. Thankfully, I was safe.

"Oh! My God, Emmy! You look sister stunning, girl!" James exclaimed, grasping my upper arms with his hands to take a better look at me.
"I look decent then?" I giggled.
"Bitch, come on. You look gorgeous; what the fuck?" He gawked. "I bet you Simon would kill to see you now."

"What did you say, ni-" I started, but the rest of my sentence was cut off by James' screaming as I attempted to chase him in my heels. I may be fast on a football pitch, but not in four inch Jimmy Choo's, oh Hell no.

"We need to get going, Emilohiiiiii." James complained, dragging out his sentence.
"Stop teasing me, then!" I folded my arms across my chest rather childishly.
"Fine." He huffed, "Get in the car."
"Manners?"
"Please." He gritted his teeth. "How I ever put up with you, I'll never know."

That night was an amazing night for the pair of us. James won Beauty Influencer Of The Year and I won the Social Star Of The Year award. Triumphantly, we partied the night away - alcohol-less. Mr. Beauty Influencer 2018 knew that his palette launch party was the following day and my God he never knew he could be so hungover.

a/n:

i know that this chapter is more focusing on james rather than the twins and emma too, but they will make more appearances, i promise.

apologies that uploads haven't been very frequent, it turns out that year ten is absolute balls and you get homework up to your ears near enough every day. i'm doing my best to keep writing before everything starts kicking off and revision finally takes over my life, though.

nevertheless, i finally feel like everything is falling into place for this book! very excited for what i have in store for you all.

thank you so much for reading.
