Em POV:

I woke up late.

Surprise, surprise; guess who forgot to set an alarm last night, and was also up until 3AM editing.

Oh, yes, that was me.

But I couldn't bail on Mia, bless her. Love her to pieces, I do.

Mia and I are close friends. Very close friends. Everybody in our huge ass friendship group is related through a massive circle: Mia is Will's girlfriend, and Will lives with Gee Nelly. Gee streams with Freya, who is Josh's girlfriend. Josh lives in the Sidemen House (for the time being) with Simon, who is my boyfriend. I am JJ's sister...

See where I'm going?

Every single one of us has a relation to each other. And I think that's what makes our group so special.

I feel like Mia is kind of feeling out our corner of the YouTube world - it can be quite intimidating. She's a shy girl, really, but the more I spend time with her, the more she opens up.

Throwing on a pair of tight Adidas Originals tracksuit bottoms, a white Off-White jumper, and my Yeezy's, I pulled my socks up and over the ends of the tracksuit bottoms.

Why? Because it was fucking freezing. And, also, fashionable.

My braided hair was still good as new, so I left it how it was: down.

"Where you at?" Mia chuckled through the phone.
"I'm sorry," I pressed a hand to my forehead, "I overslept. I look a state, man!"
"Oh my God; why am I not surprised?" She laughed. "How long will you be?"
"I'll be at yours in ten." I replied, getting in my car.
"Right - see you in a bit, then." She concluded.
"Later." I put the phone down, starting the Ferrari.

"With time to spare." Mia smiled, getting in the passenger seat, just under ten minutes after our phone call.
"Yep." I chuckled.
"Hey - you look fine."
"Fine." I cocked an eyebrow.
"Yeah. Like, not a 'state'." She told me, clicking the seatbelt in place.
"Thanks." I shook my head, beginning the twenty minute drive to Bluewater Shopping Centre.

This place was our go-to for any meet up. We'd usually spend an entire day in there, as we all have pretty bad shopping habits. But, hey - we look good.

After paying and displaying our parking ticket like good inhabitants of the UK, we entered Miss Selfridge.

Immediately, I saw Mia dart over to a pair of tartan trousers.
"Cute?" She asked.
"Is that black or navy blue?" I questioned, walking closer.
"Looks black, to me. Green and red stripes..."
"They're nice. Wear them with a black crop top–"
"And black platforms."
"That is an outfit." I nodded enthusiastically.

After our trip to Miss Selfridge was done, we entered New Look, but upon our leaving, I got a phone call.

Caller ID: Simon

"Hello? Si?" I put the phone to my ear.
"H...Em...Wha...Doing...?" Is all I could catch from Simon.
"Hang on - I'm in New Look. Can't hear shit." I took the phone away from my ear. "Mia?"
"Mmh?" Mia looked up from her phone.
"It's Simon." I pointed to my phone, "I'll meet you outside."
"Yeah, of course!" She winked as we broke off; her making her way to the tills, and me dashing outside.

"Yo, can you hear me now?" I blocked my left ear.
"Yeah. Can you hear me?" The clear and familiar sound of his voice brought my hunched, anxious posture to a relaxation.
"Loud and clear." I let out a sigh of relief.

"Well, at least I know where you are, now." Simon chuckled.
"Bluewater?" I smiled a little, even though I knew he couldn't see it.
"Yep." He replied, "I was going to see if you'd like to film at some point this week?"
"Yeah, of course. What kind of video?" I asked, tapping my toe on the pavement.
"Football."
"Are you sure, Simon? You don't want me to show you up..."
"Oi, shut up!" He laughed.
"I'm just speaking the truth!" I grinned.

"You down for it, then?"
"Obviously. Will you be filming with me, then?" I chewed a nail.
"Yeah, why not?" Simon agreed. "We'll set a date then, shall we?"
"You free the 8th?" I suggested.
"Is that Tuesday?" He checked.
"Yeah."
"I'm free that day."
"Perfect."

"So..." I broke the silence that had been hanging among us for a while.
"So what?" He chuckled.
"How have you fucking been?" I exclaimed.
"It's been a day, Emmy." Simon laughed harder.
"Exactly! I haven't had a hug off you for an entire day!" I wined.
"Can I see you today?" He questioned.
"I'm out with Mia for pretty much the entirety of today." I played with the end of one of my plaits, "I'm seeing you tomorrow."
"Yes, yes you are." He confirmed.

We talked more about, well, shite. That's what we do best, I suppose. Chat absolute nonsense until we have nothing more to say.

"Look," I began through fits of laughter, "Mia's stood next to me looking quite unimpressed. I'm going to have to go, Si."
"Fuck's sake." Simon cursed, however creasing just as much as me.
"Tomorrow?"
"Tomorrow."
"I love you." I told him.
"I love you too, Emmy." He replied. The line went dead, soon after.

"Sorry!"
"Yeah, damn straight you owe me an apology." Mia gritted her teeth. "On the phone," We turned around, reentering the shopping centre, "for twenty minutes. Twenty. Twenty minutes; are you mad?" She exclaimed.
"We were organising stuff!" I insisted, nevertheless couldn't help but giggle at her small outburst.
"You were organising fuck all, when I was there." She flicked her hair behind her.

Then, after a while:
"Can we go to Boost and get a smoothie?" Mia's small voice perked up.
"Yes," I put a hand to my forehead, "we fucking need to."
