"Shawn." I frown.
"I'm sorry. I promised her."
"But you told me we could go to the movies together."

"I know, I know. We can postpone it. I'll be home before 10."
He gave me a kiss on the cheek before leaving.

Shawn promised he would stay with me all this week before he went back to Toronto to visit his family.

"I guess she's more important." I sighed, walking upstairs and into our shared bedroom.

I scroll through Twitter for a few minutes until I decided to go the movies by myself.

I grabbed my car keys and drove to the theater.

I paid for my ticket and bought popcorn and a drink.

Going into the theater, I took my seat in the middle, having a perfect view of the screen.

Before the movie started, I heard a familiar laugh, but shrugged it off. I'm probably hearing things.

When the movie ended, the lights came back on and I stood up, turning around. My heart began breaking.

Shawn was sitting a few seats behind me with the girl he postponed our movie date for.

I turned back around, thinking.

I bit my lip, debating on whether to go up to him or not.

I decided to be petty and go up to them.

"Shawn?"

He turned around, surprised.

"Oh, hey, y/n." he smiled.
"Hey, babe."
"What are you doing here?"
"Well, since you postponed on movie date," I said, emphasizing on the word 'date'. "I thought I'd go see the movie by myself."
"Bold."
"What's that supposed to mean, Mendes?"
"Nothing." he smiled.

I grabbed his hand.
"Oh, hi." I said to his friend pretending I just noticed her.
She smiled.
I glared at her.

I wrapped my arms around Shawn's torso, giving him a kiss.

He deepened the kiss.

His friend coughed, causing us to pull away.

I whispered into Shawn's ear, "You ready to go home?"
He frowned at me, giving me a disapproving look.

"Y/n, Emily and I were going to get ice cream. Do you wanna come?"
I frowned.
"No, I'm good. I'd rather do anything else. Have fun." I said, walking away.

I tucked myself in bed, when I heard the door slam.

"What was that?" an annoyed looking Shawn stormed into the room.
"What do you mean?" I ask innocently.
"You know what I mean. Y/n, Emily and I haven't seen each other in a while-"
"So?"
"So I wanted to have a good time with her. You didn't have to be so rude."
I scoffed.

"Maybe I wouldn't have been "so rude"  if someone didn't blow me off to hangout with someone else."

"Oh, so now it's my fault. You're unbelievable."

"Are you serious? You blew me off to go see the same movie we were going to go to with someone else."

"I didn't blow you off-"
"Oh, right. You postponed it."

"Can you stop acting so petty? I don't know how any one can put up with you." he said, shaking his head.

I bit the inside of my lip.

"Whatever. Why don't you just go hangout with her. I'll leave you alone and you guys could do whatever you want." I said, turning away from him.

"Y/n-"
"Leave me alone."

"Baby, you know I didn't mean it like that."
I didn't respond to him.

"I'm sorry, baby."
"Don't be jealous. I love you and only you." he said, wrapping his arms around me.

I cuddled into his chest.

"I'm sorry." I mumbled.

"It's okay."

"I love you, muffin."
"I love you more."
