It has been a week since Shawn and I got married. Today we are leaving to go on our honeymoon. I told him that I didn't want anything too fancy, but he insisted we go on a cruise.

"Do you have everything, baby?" Shawn asked.
"Yeah, I think. Do you?"
"Yep."

We brought our things into the car and drove to where we were supposed to meet up.

Shawn said we had to go to the airport and then take a bus to where we are getting on the cruise.

Along the way to the airport, we picked our friend, Emily, up because she was going to take our car for the week. When we got to the airport, we said our goodbyes to Emily and boarded our plane half an hour later.

"I'm so excited." Shawn said as we sat down.
"Me too." I said, putting my head on his shoulder.

After the long plane ride, we boarded our cruise.

"It looks so pretty." I said, looking out at the ocean.
"It really is, but I hope we don't get seasick." he laughed.

There were a bunch of activities on the ship and we even played shuffleboard with some friendly elders.

The day ended with Shawn and I eating dinner in a more fancy environment.

"I bet those chandeliers cost more than me."
"Nope, you're priceless." Shawn said, kissing my cheek.

After we ate, we danced for hours on the balcony of the ship. There were fairy lights displayed everywhere throughout the ship and I said, "Let's take a picture."

Shawn nodded, smiling.

I held my phone and we smiled.

The first day was absolutely perfect.

"I love you so much, Victoria."
"I love you so much too." I said, connecting our lips.

He smiled.

"I know this may be too early, but how many kids do you want?"
"I don't know. Maybe two?"
"Mm, that's reasonable." Shawn said.

"Do you think we would be good parents?"
"Of course, Shawn."
"I love you." he laughed.
"Stop it, I love you more." I said, hugging him.
