"Okay, now look up a bit." I said, taking a picture of my best friend.
"Dude, you look hot." I smiled.

"Awe, thanks." Y/b/f/n said.

I was helping my best friend take pictures for his/her/their insta. It got to the point where I was laying on the ground to give him/her/them the best angle possible.

As I was taking a few pics, I felt someone trip over me. I stood up quickly to apologize.

"I'm so sorry. Are you okay?"
"Yeah. Are you okay?" he said, brushing off his pants and shirt.
"Yup. I'm fine." I said, picking up his sunglasses.

"I guess you could say I was falling for you." he smiled, winking at me.
I saw his smile and my heart became soft.

"Cute." I smiled.
"Shawn." he said, holding his hand out for me to shake.
I grabbed onto his hand and said, "y/n."
"It's nice to meet you."
"It's nice to meet you too."

"What we're you doing on the ground anyways?"
"Oh, I was taking pictures for my friend." I said, pointing towards y/b/f/n.
"Hello!" he/she/they said.
"Hi!" Shawn smiled.

"That's dedication and true loyalty right there." he said.
"Yeah, anything for my best friend." I smiled.

"You're cute. Would you maybe wanna hang out sometime?"
"Me? Are you sure?"
"Mhm."
"Oh, um, yeah." I said.

"Can I give you my number?"
"Oh, right." I said, pulling out my phone and handing it to him.

"Text me later." he smiled, walking away.

Y/b/f/n came running towards me.

"Did you just-"
"Did that just happened?"
"My new otp."

Little did I know that a few months later Shawn would be my boyfriend.
