I was sitting on my bed when I heard a knock from downstairs.

I groaned, and went to open the door.

My heart broke at the sight of y/n in front of me, crying.

I engulfed her into a hug.

"What's wrong, baby?" I asked her.

I felt her hug me tighter.

"H-he ch-cheated on m-me." she sobbed.

I pulled her closer to my chest.

"It's okay, baby. I'm here for you. He is a jerk, and you deserve someone better."

She sobbed.

I know I can treat you better.

"Here, come in." I said, holding her hand, and leading her into my room.

"Thank you." she whispered.
"Of course."

She laid in my bed and I wrapped my arms around her, our bodies molding together.

"Shawn?"
"Mm?"
"Did I do something wrong?"

"What do you mean?"
"I must've done something to make him not want me anymore, right?"
"No, honey, he is stupid. He doesn't know that you're the best girl that any guy could ever have. You didn't do anything. I bet you treated him like a king, eh? Did he treat you like a princess?"
"N-no?"

I pulled her closer.

"I can't stop thinking about him."
"I can be your distraction. Do you got plans tonight?"
"Not anymore. We were going to go to the movies-"
"You can stay the night. We can watch whatever you would like."
"Thank you."
"Don't thank me. I'm here for you always."
"And I'm here for you always too." she said.
"Mmhm."

"I don't deserve you."
"What do you mean?"
"I don't deserve a prince like you."
"Baby, I'm no prince. I'm just a gentleman." I chuckled.
She laughed.

"Should I move on from him?"
"Of course. Don't dwell on him. He's not worth it."

"Is it too soon to say I'm over him?"
"Mmm nope cause he cheated."

"I-I like someone else now."
"Wow, that was quick." I laughed.

She smiled.

"But I know this person would treat me well."
"Who is this person?"
"Would it be wrong to say this person is you?"

I smiled. "Would it be wrong to say that you likes you too?"
"Wow, clever." she laughed.

"I like you too, y/n. I like you a lot, and I promise I will always treat you like my princess."
