"I'll be right back." Shawn said, standing up.

We were having a movie night and we're currently rewatching Wreck-It Ralph.

He went upstairs and I laid down, pulling the blanket on top of my body.

Shawn's phone began buzzing like crazy. I looked at his phone and he was receiving texts from someone named Cait.

I frowned as I read some of the things he sent her.

I unlocked his phone and saw that they have been texting for a while.

I read some of their conversations and I immediately regretted it.

C: You should come over, Shawn.

S:I will later tonight babe
C:Okay, I can't wait to see you!!
S:<3

I kept reading their conversation.

S: You're so cute, you know that?

C: Awe, thanks, Shawn. You're not so bad yourself (;
S: Oh, please
S: You think I'm the cutest (:
C: Sureeee
S: I can't wait for our date tonight
C: I can't wait either
C: I'm still so confused as to why you don't have a girlfriend though

I read what she just sent him.

C: I had fun last night
C: I hope we can hang out soon again (:

Shawn told me he was staying late at the studio yesterday.

"Hey, babe, is that my phone?" he asked, sitting down next to me.

"Who is Cait?"
"W-what?"
"Don't play dumb. Shawn, what is this." I asked, shoving the phone into his chest.

He looked at the messages.

"I-I'm sorry. Y/n-"
"Were you cheating on me?"

"No-I mean yes, but-"
"Was I not good enough?"
"No, you were more than enough."
"Then why?"
"B-because I am an idiot and I'm so sorry-"
"That's your excuse? You're joking."
"I'm sorry, I-I didn't know what to do and-"
"Get out of my house. We are done and I never want to see you again."
"Wait, y/n, let me explain please-"
"No, I'm not going to listen to your petty excuses anymore. You can hang out with Cait or whoever you want."

"Please-"
"What? Can the Shawn Mendes not accept the fact that he just cheated on his significant other? Now I understand why you didn't want us to be public. You're disgusting, you know that? I don't want to see you ever again. Please leave my house right now."
"Y/n, I'm sorry I still love you and I-"
"You're too late. I don't love you anymore. Get out."
"I-"
"Get out!" I said, pushing him out of my house.
"Wait-"
I slammed the door.

I did the thing most people do when they're sad and sat there for an hour crying. I couldn't believe he would do something like that. I didn't think someone would ever cheat on me. I was always loyal and did everything I could for him. What an awful thing an awful human being did.
