Calum had been away on tour for 5 weeks. He had called you up and told you that he wouldn't be able to make it home for your birthday. Sitting down on the couch you sighed. You turned on the tv and felt your eyes slowly began drooping. About 30 minutes later you went upstairs to check your phone. You had a new message from Calum. It said. "(Y/n) go outside and look at the stars." You did as it said and soon texted him back. "I wish you were here with me, they look so beautiful." About 2 minutes later you felt arms wrap around you. "I am here." Someone said. You turned around and seen Calum. "Oh my god, cal! I'm so glad you're here!" You exclaimed. "Even though I said I was going to miss your birthday, I wouldn't. I wanted to surprise you." He said. You kissed his lips and hugged him. "Thank you, I missed you so much." You said. "I missed you too." He said kissing your forehead.
