"Wow. Nice flowers" Nick says as I enter the venue
I had woken up this morning to flowers on the bus. I was rather confused but overly flattered at the fact that someone thought of me.
"Thanks. I just wish I knew who sent them" I frown slightly
He shrugs before walking past me and towards the snack table. I shrug before walking over to my dressing room to set the flowers down.
"Hey, Cameron told me to tell you that you guys still need to talk" Claire says making her way through my door
"Of course we do" I joke
Throwing off my boots, I shove in some sneakers. I still had practice and soundcheck to get through, as well as taking some time for writing. I had decided it to be better to do soundcheck and then head off to writing for a bit.
"Novs? Did you even hear me?"
I snap out of my thoughts snapping my head towards Claire in confusion.
"I'm sorry, what?"
"I said I'm guessing Cameron didn't like the fact that Emery came yesterday?"
I roll my eyes "you'd be right. I don't know, I guess he doesn't like Emery? For whatever reason. I'm not sure"
"I'm pretty sure he doesn't not like him. He just wants you to be with someone else"
He sigh, chuckling slightly "you mean that someone being Zion?" I turn to look at her
Her cheeks appear to be flustered and a wide smile graces her face.
"Come on. You haven't at least thought of giving him a chance?" She questions
"I don't even know him that well yet, Claire"
"Ha! That wasn't a no" she says in a sing song voice
I jump up from my seat, grabbing a bottled water before walking to my door.
"Whatever you say"
