She holds onto me tightly. Not wanting to let me go, me feeling the same. It had been years since I felt her warm embrace. The comfort only her arms could provide for me. The comfort I had longed for. I finally have it back.

"Uh mom? What are you doing?" Eli questions from the doorway

We pull away, her gaze never leaving mine. She studies my face with the biggest smile i've ever seen gracing her features.

"Elijah, remember that story i used to tell you when you were little?" she asks never breaking our gaze

"About the man and woman? And how they were in love but some things happened and they both split?" he asks cocking his head to the side

"Yeah. What I didn't tell you was that, that girl was me" she says finally looking at him

Something finally dawns on his face. His eyes widen and he looks between me, cameron, and our mom.

"You mean yo tell me that these two are my brother and sister?" he asks pointing at us

"That would be correct little brother" Cameron chuckles

Everything falls silent as we all look at each other. Just studying each other's reactions, especially Elijah's. He seemed to be in shock which i couldn't blame him. He just found out he has siblings.

"Eli? Elijah? Sweetie can you say something please?" mom asks as softly as she can

He shakes his head, clearing his throat. His gaze switches from her towards me and then towards cameron.

"How old are you guys?" he asks

"I'm eighteen. I'll be nineteen in a couple months" i answer

"I'm twenty" cameron answers

"Of course you guys are older. I'm always the youngest" he whines jokingly

I release a small laugh at his attempt to make an awkward situation, less awkward.

"How old are you?" i ask

"I'm fourteen" he says

My face drops in shock. i knew he was young but not that young. i thought he had to be at least fifteen or sixteen.

"Huh, thought you were older" cameron says

We all laugh at each other. Somewhat trying make this an easy encounter. It seemed to be going well and i couldn't ask for anything better at the moment.

"Guys, how about we go out for dinner. We can talk some more. Let Elijah meet his older siblings as well" our mom suggests

"Sounds good"
