"okay, are you guys gonna move so i can eat or are you just gonna keep squeezing each other while my food goes bad?" Eli whines
i release a chuckle before pulling away from our hug. i drag him into our room as Elijah rushes after his food once we are out of the way. i drag Zion towards the balcony so we can talk.
"are you surprised?" he asks smiling widely
"obviously! although, i almost pepper sprayed you dude" i joke
"yeah, thanks for not doing that" he chuckles wrapping his arms around my waist
my smile seems to get bigger as i take in the moment. this had to have been the most peace i've felt in a while. i had really missed being with him.
"i'm so happy to see you. just being here with you is everything for me right now" he squeezes me tight
i smile before giving him a quick peck and bringing him into my arms. i sigh in content as his warmth wraps around me.
"okay, okay, i know you've missed him but he is my best friend too" i hear Cameron joke from the double doors
"hey man" Zion says pulling away from our hug
he gives Cameron a quick hug before coming back to me and wrapping his arm back around my waist.
"y'all just gonna stand out here or y'all gonna come in and eat?" he asks
as he says that, my stomach growls. they both laugh at me before dragging me inside. lucky for us, Elijah had ordered pizza.
"alright guys, please tell me there's pizza left or did Eli eat it all?" mom asks walking out of her room in her pajamas
"pizza is right on the counter mom. Eli was nice enough to order two bigs ones instead of something for himself" i chuckle
"hey! don't throw shade? it wasn't my fault you guys were too slow last time" he grumbles
"at least you were nice enough to order enough for everybody" she says as we all laugh at his red cheeks "who's this?" mom asks as the laughter dies down
her gaze is looking straight at Zion, making him freeze slightly. i squeeze his hand in reassurance before he answers.
"i'm Zion, nice to meet you ma'am" he smiles
her face lights up as her gaze switches between me and him.
"is this him?" she asks me
i nod, smiling. she squeals slightly, jumping up and hugging him. they both almost fall over but both regain balance before that can happen.
"wait! this is you boyfriend?" Eli asks with pizza sauce on his cheek
my cheeks turn red as everyone looks towards me. mom was still squeezing him tightly in a hug, Cameron was smirking at me slightly, and Elijah was glaring at Zion.
"so, is this him, honey?" mom asks
Zion gives me a look, along with Cameron.
"yeah, something like that"
