stepping out of the airport and towards my taxi, my hair flies around my face. after taking the time out to think and get my thoughts together, i finally knew the answers i had been searching for. it was sudden but i knew that if i didn't go through with this, i would always regret it.
"okay. here we are" the driver says almost scaring me
i thank him before handing over the money. i grab my suitcase, heading up towards the front desk for my key. i thank the lady, rolling my suitcase towards the elevator and to the fourteenth floor.
i go to the door 1422 and knock, leaning up against the side of the door.
"coming!" i hear elijah from behind the door
he swings the door open before wrapping his arms around me tightly.
"okay, eli. i know you missed me and i missed you too but not too tight okay?" i chuckle
"why? whatever, i don't care but you have a lot of explaining to do sister" he says bringing me into the room and shutting the door
"i know. i will explain everything but i need to talk to Zion first. it's really important" i say rubbing my hands together
he looks at me with a certain look. he studies my face before crossing his arms together.
"what is it nova? i'm your brother and you can trust me. just tell me" he says softly
my face drops slightly as a deep sigh is released from my lips. i grab his hand and bringing him to the kitchen table.
"i don't know when but this has happened. i wasn't sure what i was gonna do but now i do. i know what i want now and i've come to terms with it" i smile
"is that why you left?" he questions
i nod as he continues starring at me in anticipation.
"what is it novs?" he asks
i release a huff before squeezing his hand
"i'm pregnant, Eli" i sigh
it goes silent as i say this. everything seemed to be going in slow motion. it was weird to say the least but i expected this.
