"Do we have everything?" I question Cameron for what feels like the hundredth time today
He holds his finger up, telling me to wait. I huff, rolling my eyes. I just wanted to know if we have the right person and if so, how fast could we get her back home. The past month, me and Cameron had been nonstop searching for our mom. Of course, our dad objected at every point but that never stopped us. Given that I haven't exactly been keeping up with my social life as much as I should but I had my reasons. I had also been in the studio trying to finish up an ep before summer ends but it's proven to be almost impossible but I had managed to balance out time for our search project as well as the studio.
"Okay. Thank you so much" Cameron says hanging the phone up
I look up at him expectantly "so? Is it her?" I question nervously
"It seems like it" He says smiling widely
Jumping for joy as squeals manage to break through, I throw myself in Cameron's arms. We both laugh as we hug each other in accomplishment. We had finally found our mother and couldn't be more over the moon about it.

After talking a plan out with Cameron, we set up for a trip to go see our mom. She had resided in Utah. Not that far away but a pretty long ways from home. Once we picked out a day to head out, I grabbed my bag and decided it was time to head back home. Since me and Cameron had started this whole investigation, I had temporarily moved in with him for the time being. I admit, it was pretty weird not being around Claire or the guys but I was sure they would understand, we'll at least Zion and Claire.
"Claire Bear! I'm home" I yell as I enter our house
I throw my shoes off at the door before heading towards my room. I put my bag against my closet and plopping down on my bed.
"Novs?" I hear her voice from the kitchen
I jump up quickly before heading towards the kitchen. Claire was making her a cup of coffee, as per usual. As she hears my footsteps, she turns to look at me. A squeal comes from her mouth before bringing me into a hug.
"God, I've missed you! What happened? Tell me everything" she rushes
"Well, me and Cameron confronted dad which I've already mentioned to you but after that, we hired two private investigators, who by the way found her in the first two weeks of us calling them. Although they had found her, we wanted to be sure, so, we researched further and it turns out it was he. So, we've planned a trip to go visit her. We'll be leaving next weekend" I explain to her
"Wow. That's big! I'm so happy for you" she says bringing me into another I hug
I release another chuckle "yeah, it is but I'm gonna go shower and then grab some food. Wanna come?" I question
"Uh sure but I think you should call Zion" she says standing up, crossing her arms
My eyebrows scrunch before meeting her gaze.
"Am I in trouble?"
