blur. that's all i could see. a big blur as i try to fill my lungs with air. trying to get it back to a steady pace.
"nova!"
"nova breathe baby. breathe"
i then feel arms wrap around me. my arms fall to my sides and i can feel myself becoming light headed.
"nova, stay awake. listen to me. breathe okay?"
it's the last thing i hear before my eyes shut on their own accord and shouts are being heard throughout the room.

we all rush to the hospital, hoping and praying nova would alright. the amount of anxiety was very prominent in the room as well as the stress.
"i'm sorry but you guys can't come any further. let us run some tests and we will get back with you as soon as possible. can anyone give us any information about her?" the doctor asks
"that would be me. you guys go sit down, i'll handle this" cameron says with his mom in tow behind him
i nod before the guys follow me towards the waiting area. only a few people seem to be waiting as us.
"Elijah, i need you to tell me what happened. please? she seemed fine over the phone. what changed?" Zion questions
"i don't know, Zion. i found her like that. all i know is, when she got back, we were talking and then our dad came in. i had left so they could talk and when i came back, i found her like that" i explain
"your dad is here?" Edwin asks shocked
"yeah" i say
"we're back. have you guys heard anything yet?" Cameron asks
"no but we need to talk" Zion tells him
cameron looks confused but nods anyways. before any of them can say anything, they are interrupted.
"where is she? is the baby okay?"
