Chapter 5: Ignorance Is Bliss

Yesterday was hell, finding a dead body and then meeting a new arch nemesis, not to mention having a few classes with the one who shall not be named.

I was just not in the mood for another long day, not ready for the day I knew was coming.

Pushing out of bed, I walked past the pile of dead birds that gathered around the bathroom floor.

They just won't stop, I managed to lay a towel down and they seem to all land on the damn thing, thankfully.

Washing up, I got dressed and headed out the door with my book bag and key.

Locking the door, I watched the bullied girl hurry out of her room again and storm down the hall.

I wonder if she has any friend here...

'Probably not, Ace.'

Ace? Wow I get a nickname?

Heading down the hall, I went to Liliths room giving it a knock.

Eva opened it and smiled cheekily, "You know she's already wide awake and getting her daily dose of vitamins. The girls an old lady." She smirked and gestured for me to come in.

I shook my head "Just meet us in the cafeteria. I'll grab you breakfast." I said wiping the toothpaste off her chin.

She laughed "Whoops. Thanks babe. Hash browns and those little chicken biscuit things."

Nodding, I headed down the hall to the guys dorms giving Lincoln's dorm a knock.

The door opened and I felt my heart float up to the soaring sky. My goodness is he beautiful....

I stared into the gorgeous hazel eyes, his dark hair wet and combed back. Nothing but a towel wrapped around his waste, and I'm sure those pecks were hard enough to eat off of.

'You're drooling freshie.'

Goodness how do I turn this voice off?!

Wiping casually at my lip for drool, I smiled at the gorgeous creation and as I went to ask if Lincoln was there, he showed up in the room pulling a T-shirt on and grabbing his back pack.

He walked over and stopped, looking between us, he furrowed his eyebrows "Hey Anne." Lincoln stated walking past the gorgeous man and to me.

I smiled, "Hey Link, sorry I don't know why I thought you and Vesper shared a dorm." I stated confused.

Lincoln gave me an annoyed wide eyed look "Nope, this is Vlad." He said gesturing to the hunk.

Vlad smiled down at me "Pleasure." He held out his hand and I shook it "Annalise." I fought the wide smile wanting to burst over my face.

I let go and shoved my hand in my back pocket, "We should go get breakfast before Eva kicks my ass." I said jokingly.

Lincoln nodded, and went to walk with me "Make sure you lock the door." He told Vlad who nodded and gave me a wink.

As we reached a far enough distance to not be heard I threw myself onto Lincoln "You didn't want to tell me that you have a fucking model room mate?!" I asked annoyed.

He laughed, "The guys annoying. Hogs up the bathroom, leaves his shit lying around everywhere and stares at the mirror for hours." Lincoln shook his head.

I nodded "I'm sure when you look that good every mirror is your friend." I gushed.

We walked to Jameson and Kristoffer's dorm and gave it a knock, Jameson opened it and continued arguing with Kris. "It doesn't matter Kris, pick a damn shirt." He said aggravated.
