Chapter 50: This is Heaven

Tossing the pillow at the alarm, it fell off the table and Bronx got up looking around the room like I haven't tossed a pillow at his stupid alarm clock every day the last seven days.

Pushing out of bed, I went to the bathroom brushing my teeth and washing off my face. "Morning." Bronx said going to the sink and washing his face.

I pat his back "Morning." I headed to the bedroom pulling on clothes and putting clean gym clothes in my bag. "I'll do laundry later today. Just put all your dirty clothes in the hamper." I said to Bronx who walked out smiling "You're the best." He said nodding.

Heading out the door, I went to Lily's dorm and knocked.

She opened it up and cocked an eyebrow at me "You leave a note under my door to do your damn summary of Elidora at midnight!" She emphasized the word midnight, I'm sure that was the part that bothered her.

I kissed her cheek "You're a doll." I said taking the paper she held out and watched Eva walk out sniffling "I'm sick stay five feet away." She said to us.

Lily smiled "Awe so sweet, you care if we get sick too?" She asked.

Eva eyed Lily "No, I just don't like people near me when I'm sick. Personal space." She said looking us over as if we don't know her.

I smirked and watched her walk to the stairs and go to class shoving people out of her way.

Oh, Eva.

Lincoln walked over eyeing us "Where's Eva?" He asked.

I pointed to the stairs "You just missed her. She's sick." I stated watching him furrow his brows "Damn. She's going to do that five feet thing huh?" He asked.

I nodded.

He sighed and we headed to class, Michael wasn't in class though.

As the classes went on I realized he wasn't in any of the classes.

Combat class either...

Heading out the gym, I waved bye and headed to the dorms giving his dorm a knock.

I waited and contemplated leaving about five times before the door opened, he looked to me and then looked behind him and stepped out the room closing the door behind him nervously "What's up Ace?" He asked.

Looking to the door, I moved my eyes to him, he looked disheveled, a bit flustered....and clearly is hiding something.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to cock block, I was just-okay I'm going to go." I turned to go to my dorm and he stood confused and then looked to me "Ace! Wai-" he went to explain but I shook my head "No, don't it's all good. I'll see you tomorrow." I replied hurrying into my dorm and shutting the door.

My heart fell to the floor, sitting down I sighed and kicked my bag going to shower.

Stupid me.

I washed up and watched tv for a good three hours to soothe my emotions before getting up and going to the dining hall to get my lunch/dinner.

Settling for a burger, I headed back to my dorm eating it and watching Bronx try to do this weird push up clap hands challenge Seth started.

After the tenth time of him hitting his head on the floor, I eyed him "You're going to get a concussion." I said laughing lightly.

He sat up and looked to me "You're probably right." He nodded and rubbed his head "I need a drink." He sighed.

I eyed him "Same." I responded.

Bronx cocked an eyebrow "Give me a good reason and I'll get you some." He said eyeing me.

Laughing I took a bite and shrugged "I went to Michaels dorm and I think he uh...was preoccupied." I swallowed with a bit of difficulty.
