Chapter 16: Awkward? No way.

"I still can't believe you almost slept with your coach. I mean give it a few months before you do something that dramatic." Eva said laughing as she looked between Lily and I.

Tossing a pillow at her, I sighed "He came to bring snacks to my room at two in the morning. Tell me that isn't code for 'I want to bone you' because if it isn't I don't know what is." I said sighing.

Eva shrugged "Saying the wrong name is what I do all the time. I just can't believe you said Jameson."

I lied to her because she isn't supposed to know about Michael.

Lily on the other hand knew, "Maybe you've got hidden feelings." She said causally.

I shook my head "That's not possible. I'm going to go get breakfast before class. Don't tell anyone Alright?" I said to both of them.

They held up their pinkies and I headed out the door to the steps stopping as Lincoln came up behind me "You told me to tell you about when I have a dream about you. I had one last night. You where surrounded by fire, the whole garden of the academy was burning up, the academy itself was practically destroyed and you stood there...." he tried to capture his mind into words before looking me over "It felt like you did it. You destroyed everything. And you stood there with Lily, Koda and some random ass guy." He said.

I nodded "Did the random guy have a tattoo of an x?" I asked him pondering.

He eyed me for a while "You know this guy don't you? Of course you do. I've seen him in my dreams at least six times." He said furrowing his brows "Who is he?"

Shaking my head I swallowed my next lie, "I've seen him in dreams too." I said "I don't know who he is though."

Lincoln pondered for a moment, "Odd." He stated.

Michael do you know about Lincoln?

I waited.

Nothing.

Hmm...must be sleeping.

We took a seat at the table and I eyed Vesper who was looking very sick, "You alright Ves?" I asked.

He nodded "Been feeling a bit under the weather lately. I'll be fine though." He stated.

His eyes drowned in dark circles and his skin much paler.

Oh god "You should see a nurse Vesper." Kristoffer said looking him over, then reaching and touching his forehead. After removing his hand, he began staring at Vesper for a while before quieting down.

Kris looked to Eva smiling at her "Nice French hair." He said laughing.

Eva stared at him with a blank stare for a while before smiling. You could tell they where talking code, they always did that.

Lilith and Eva came over with Leandro who was smiling widely at Lily.

"I had a dream the two where married." He laughed, "I was watching the whole thing from the back of the church." Lincoln said smiling.

My heart swelled up, she marries him.

I smiled widely at Lily and Lee who carried both their trays of food.

Looking over at Vesper, his eyes where stuck to me and I furrowed my brows "Are you okay?" I asked feeling a bit weird under his stare.

Vesper didn't look okay and his profound sweating, discoloration and sunken eyes told me he was definitely not okay.

He nodded "Perfectly fine." He said gently, almost gleefully.

Alrighty then, note to self, make sure Vespers not going insane too.

I ate my breakfast and then headed to each of my classes trying to ignore all the wild stares from my classmates.

Apparently I rose from the dead.

Fifth class was interesting.

Abe seemed to pretend last night hadn't even happened and went back to how we where before.

I was thankful for that, up until he was showing me how to fight off head locks and then I flipped him off me and on his back with me sitting on his hips.

The boner in his shorts told me that if I moved off it the class would know he really does have a hard on for me.

We both eyed each other carefully and I knew if I stayed sitting on his crotch any longer the guys would start wondering.

"Next two!" He said as I got up and he quickly turned around. Abe grabbed a shower towel wiping his hands but really just hiding his boner behind it.

I smiled and made my way to the mat sitting down.

I'm sure last night I ruined any chance of ever sleeping with him but I could still enjoy myself while I have him.

He's the coach for this specific combat class which means afterwards, I won't even see him.
