I got released the next night and was so relieved. Heading to my dorm I opened the door to find Jolene left me a small vase of Hydrangeas.
Dearest Annalise, I hope your mind on this academy hasn't changed and that you still see it as a beautiful place that you can enjoy. We've been searching and trying to find the one behind this. I had them put a plexi glass window in for you to keep those birds out.

"Thank you Jolene." I said aloud.
Lily began putting all my flowers around my room and held the red tulips smiling at me and placing it on my nightstand "Who's the secret admirer?" She asked opening one of the chocolates and eating it placing the rest in the mini fridge.
I looked to the tulips taking the paper rose out and placing it by itself, "Remember the voice? I'm not supposed to say but since you're my sister I'll let you know. Turns out it's Lucious' son. His names Michael and I am pretty sure he saved me last night." I said looking them over smiling.
She cocked an eyebrow "Okay so the seed of the second worst vampire to exist is in love with you?" She laughed.
Lily picked up the other tulips and placed them in my bathroom. "Not in love, I mean I think it's more that he's up to something, wants something. I'm really not sure. Honestly I freaked out when I was dying and the only person I could think to help me was Michael." I shrugged.
She came out of the bathroom "Did you see him?" she asked wanting details and seeming a bit unsure.
I shook my head "Not when he found me in the forest, but I did earlier. I began seeing him like a hallucination or something. He wasn't bad looking." I said tucking my hair behind my ear.
To be honest, He's handsome, but he's also the one who believes all humans should be enslaved for the pleasure of vampires.
"You went into the forest?" She asked placing the lily's on the desk.
I nodded "I freaked out and then the crow led me out of the garden and into the forest. I kept telling myself not to fall asleep."
She wiped a tear from her eye "I don't like the fact that I almost lost you Anne." She said taking a break and leaning into the wall sighing.
Smiling up at her I nodded "I know, I promise I won't do it again alright?"
Lily nodded "Better not." She shoulder bumped me and gave me a small smile.
Pulling my sleeves up, I leaned back into the bed "I don't know what he did to save me though." I stated looking over at her "I was just dying one minute and then I was alive the next."
The door opened and mom and dad walked in from their conference with Jolene. "We should be headed back. I've got work in the morning plus we need some major sleep." Dad said giving us hugs.
We said our goodbyes and Lily walked them to their ride since I wasn't really supposed to be leaving my room.
A few others visited and I stayed in bed doing homework and watching movies on my laptop.
The knock on the door was very quiet, I glanced at the clock and wondered if I should open the door after I was just almost killed and my killer is out there somewhere still.
"Yes?" I asked softly.
"Anne, sorry if I woke you." Abe said behind the door.
My stomach fluttered and my heart did weird dips as I placed the laptop on my table and gave myself a look in the mirror pulling my hair from its wacky bun and letting it fall in waves.
Taking a steady breath, I pulled open the door and smiled up at him. "Sorry, I can't be too safe when there's someone out to kill me." I said laughing.
Abe nodded "Absolutely. I just wanted to check on you. I brought you some night time snacks, figured you stocked up on sleep and are probably wide awake."
Genius.
I smiled wide and opened the door stepping aside and letting him inside shutting the door behind me. "Just don't listen okay? Go to sleep, it's the least that I deserve after almost dying. Plus he tried to save me." I told Jolene under my breath sighing as I locked the door and watched him search for a place to put the paper bag of snacks.
"You can put them on the floor. My rooms currently a garden." I said feeling the irony that I almost died in a garden and now I'm sleeping in one.
Geez.
He smiled "It's good to see you're okay." He spoke nervously, "You where the prettiest sleeping beauty I ever saw." He joked.
I moved a bit closer "Haven't you ever read the book? You could've saved me hours ago with a kiss." I joked.
Abe's smile dropped as he watched my lips.
Oh my god Abe just give in! I will let you take me!
He stepped closer and I tried again "You do know how to kiss, don't you?" I asked dropping my joking facade and pulling a new one on.
His eyes wandered over my face and then to my lips "Annalise...please." He said softly, his hands in their own contemplating wars as they moved from almost touching me to moving to his back pocket and then behind his head.
Fine, let's play Abe.
Dropping my robe, I let my little night gown do it's own seducing.
His breathing quickened and hurried, "You can go then Abe." I said mouthing lightly "Goodnight."
He spoke "Goodnight Anne." And as he began walking toward the door, I grabbed his shirt pushing him to the bed and crawling over him.
Abe groaned and I placed a hand over his mouth "Should've stayed." I said softly unbuckling his pants and pulling them down while keeping my finger to my lips.
He took my lips pulling me to him, his hand gripping my ass as he began taking charge.
I stripped off my nightgown moaning as his lips ran over my neck. I shut my eyes and as he rubbed between my legs, I gasped and arched my back. I shouldn't be doing this! I'm a hoe! I really am aren't I? But I earned this! I want this, badly. Gripping his shirt I began pulling him closer.
'Your thoughts are a mess...get your mind together kid.'
He began sucking lightly on my collarbones grazing his fangs, Oh god. "Oh Michael." I moaned out.
My mind clicking as I said the name, fuck, dammit Michael! You distracted me!
Abe sat up and stared at me with a small smile "Michael?" He asked.
Oh fuck..
'Smooth, Ace.'
Shut up you! You distracted me!
"Abe! I'm sorry. I'm sorry." I sighed and watched him begin to get dressed again "No Anne I'm sorry, I really shouldn't be here. I don't know why I'm here." He said buttoning his pants up embarrassed.
I pulled my robe on, "Please Abe. Just stay, just for the night. I don't want to be alone." I said softly.
He sighed "I can't Anne. Goodnight." With that he headed out the door and I shut it locking it.
Fuck! I kicked the trash bin and then sighed and picked the trash up putting back in the bin.
So fucking close.
