I got up at six am to train for archery, I shot for about two hours until Levi showed up and told me to go enjoy my weekend instead. He was kind to me, something I didn't know people could be anymore.

My door was painted pink and I found it sweet that someone took the time to sit and paint over it. It felt good.

So although some people where assholes, others where kind of good.

I tried focusing on the good people.

Millie was released a few days ago, I'd spotted her a few times but tried keeping my distance to avoid her conversations.

Getting my coffee and a bagel, I took it outside avoiding her and ate while I watched the stupid squirrels.

They always crack me up, little crack heads. The one ahead of me spent a solid three minutes trying to open it and then grabbed the nut, looked at me and dropped it then ran.

Take your hard earned nut with you kid.

"Morning."

I looked over at Abe, giving him a smile I looked back inside "Careful, you might lose your job Abe." I joked.

He laughed and looked back inside "They're too young to know, we all eventually have a moment." He said calmly. Did he ever have a break?

His eyes moving from me to a squirrel "You think they'd be scared if they knew the truth?" He asked.

I shrugged "Honestly, I'm just going to stick this one out. Otherwise people might start dying and I might get blamed for all their deaths." I laughed taking a drink and giving him a sideways glance.

"I found Michael this morning. Actually the librarian did, she left him but he's asleep in the lit section of the library." Abe said leaning back.

Taking a bite of my bagel I shrugged "And?" I asked but thought why the library? That's really where he went?

Abe leaned in "What I want to know is why isn't he in his dorm?" He asked thoughtfully.

I tossed pieces of my bagel to the squirrels "He uh...got kicked out. I tried offering him a place to stay but he left in the middle of the night." I said watching Abe sigh.

"When we uh...that one moment.." he's talking about the time we almost fucked, I nodded "Was he the Michael you.. Cause I tried to find a Michael in this school that even seemed like he'd be good enough for you but they all didn't match."

I laughed "You tried to find out which Michael it was?" I asked. He laughed sheepishly "I had a right to know who you where thinking of at the moment." He said turning a pink shade.

Nodding, I looked over at him "Yeah, he's the Michael. But since we're talking about that you should know it was only because he was talking in my head" I said before realizing how crazy I sounded.

"He was talking to me through my thoughts with some spell for months before I ever saw him. Just always listening in on me and saying stupid comments." I said clearing that up.

Abe smirked "So you were just a bit crazy at the time?" He asked.

I laughed and nodded "Exactly. I couldn't tell you at the moment, but yeah. I was trying to tell him to shut up and leave me alone but it felt so good all I got to say was the idiots name." I said embarrassed.

He smiled down at me "Well, you definitely broke my spirit at that." He said laughing.

I shook my head, "Abe you were great, I was there with you in the moment. But I was also trying to shut up the little nag in the back of my head." I tossed the last of my bagel and stood up.

Abe eyed me up and down "I really wish I was a student here." he said sighing and shaking his head.

I smirked "Just make sure you don't check out my ass when I walk away, remember you've got students in there that can see." I joked and watched him cock an eyebrow "No promises." He said.

Laughing I walked past him and to the doors heading back inside getting another coffee and making my way to the library.

I walked inside and up to the literature section to see Michael asleep still.

Walking over, I placed the coffee on a book by him and headed out but not before putting a "BOOKS OFF LIMITS" sign on the opening.

Going down the steps, I made my way to the gym and decided to work up on some of my fighting too, I got a lot of catching up to do with these classes.

It's time I get shit done.

Especially since I'll have to beat a lot of asses during this long journey I'm going to be heading down.

If I'm going to kill Michael, Luscious and the entire castle of monsters, I'll have to start getting in shape. After all, I'm not hopped up on vampire blood like they are.

Pushing the gym door open, I tossed my bag to the ground smiling at Seth and Colton who where training on the punching bags. A couple other people where here, some girls, some guys but not that many. It's still early.

The punching bag got a lot of kicks, punches and attacks. I was trying to fight without anyone noticing I was fighting it with half my power. If that makes sense.

I gave it an hour and then headed back to my dorm staring at the rose again before heading off to my shower.
