Chapter 26: First Day Back

Slipping out of bed, I let the music play as I headed to the bathroom getting ready.

It was almost eleven and I'd missed most of my classes, but I didn't mind. I was back in my dorm and felt so good.

I'd had the greatest sleep of my life and I felt revitalized and ready to see Lily, Eva and Jameson....even Koda.

Doing my makeup light, I slid into some jeans and a camisole with a cardigan, before pulling on a silver cuff bracelet and grabbing my book bag.

Long time no see old friend.

I patted my book bag heading out the door and locking it behind me. Tucking the key into the zipper pocket.

Taking a steady breath, I gave small smiles to the passerby's who whispered and eyed me.

Wonderful....

Maybe I should get my headphones and iPod, seems like it'll be a long day.

I ran my hand through my hair nervously and headed down the steps to my fourth class. Class with Jameson and Eva, this should be interesting to walk into.

Heading straight for the class, I took a steady breath and then pulled the door open walking inside.

Mrs Crinamorte eyed me up and down "Welcome back Amy." She said purposely fucking my name up.

Two can play at that game bitch, "Thanks Mrs Creammore." I smirked heading to the only open seat. Anatomy was no joke.

Michael eyed me as I sat beside him and he leaned over whispering "That was ballsy." he sounded amused. I'm surprised he's in my class.

I nodded "She hates me, don't think too hard on it." I whispered back giving him a glance over before focusing on the two sets of eyes glued to me.

Eva laid her head on Jimmys shoulder and they both smiled with sorrow in their eyes. I gave them a big smile and winked.

Jimmy looked from me to Michael and then smiled at me before looking away confused.

We apparently missed the dissection of the cat, which meant we got to dissect the bat instead. Apparently its all she could find.

So while everyone else got to move on with normal schedule, Michael and I got stuck cutting open a bat.

Wonderful.

I mean they couldn't go find a road kill cat? They're like everywhere, aren't they?

The bell rang breaking my mid-cringe as Michael pulled its little stomach out. At least I think it was its stomach.

I pulled my gloves off helping him put it in the back freezer before cleaning up and smiling at Jimmy and Eva who where smiling outside the door.

"Tell me, did you miss me as much as I missed you?" I asked them watching Eva nod pulling me into a hug. I pulled her in and held her tight, she didn't seem okay though. Then again her other half died a month ago, I shouldnt expect anything more than a smile.

Jameson pulled me in for a hug "You look beautiful Anne." He said pulling back and giving me a smirk.

I rolled my eyes smiling "Quit flirting Jimmy." Eva nodded at him "You know Serena wouldn't like that." She eyed him judgmentally.

Looking between the two, I pulled from Jameson grinning "You got a girlfriend while I was gone?" I asked.

He nodded "Figured you'd come back with a man of your own, I had to get myself a hot babe." Jameson smiled while blushing.
