"Jesse, please...for the love of whoever you believe in, stop playing this damn song!" Ronnie shouted over to Jesse, and I was surprised since I wasn't sure Ronnie could ever be annoyed by anything.

I looked over at Jesse who was mouthing the lyrics to a KISS song, his facial expressions have become something I'm familiar with. The first time it was funny, but his air guitar playing while laying on his back has become more of a distraction. I think this would be the fifteenth time he replayed this song today.

It's been two weeks in this place. I missed my dorm, my real bed, my cute clothes, cute boys who I could physically touch not to mention kicking their asses in combat.

Sighing, I focused on the puzzle piece in my hand and eyed where it could possibly go.

"Annalise?" The red haired woman spoke to me, and I looked up at her.

She eyed me and my puzzle, "Your charges have been dropped. The members in the bar belonged to an occult of Israfels." She stood tall and I eyed her annoyed.

"I could have told you that, in fact I did." I said slamming the puzzle piece into its spot.

It was quiet in the prison now, "Well you won't be going to court. Your Head Mistress Jolene and her guardian have cleared your name. You will be staying here for another week till we know you won't be a problem. Otherwise, Welcome back to Vangsvere Academy Annalise Dragos." She stated handing me something through the opening.

I reached over grabbing the sweater and staring at it for a long moment, her smell lingered in it almost breaking my heart. Putting it to my face, I took a deep breath sighing, Lily.

It may seem odd, maybe strange but I missed her. Growing up with her I've always felt like I was ten years older and she was my baby sister I had to protect and take care of. Her scent calms me.

Smiling over at Tina, she gave me a wink before moving to Jesses cell. "Jesse, you will be going to trial in two days for the murder of your father and brother. Be ready to prove you've changed in the last five years." She said moving to the next one.

Jesse has been in here five years?!

Millie smiled at her "Prostitution will always be illegal whether human or vampire, I am sure you learned by now, yes?" Tina asked.

I watched Millie nod "How much longer Tins?"

Tina smiled "Three days. You're almost out."

Tina looked to Crazy and then walked past her to Ronnie "Ronnie you're not getting out for a couple more years. Stay comfy." She smirked moving to Jack.

He looked over at her annoyed "I have a week till my next trial. I know. Thanks." He said bluntly.

She hid her smile and went to Landon, "Get comfy too." She said eyeing him in disgust before moving to Michael.

I've wondered what Landon's here for but everyone says he's been here since they where here. He apparently won't tell anyone, I wonder if it's something stupid and small like robbing a store.

Michael cocked an eyebrow at her, she began "Your trial will be this week. Just enjoy your freedom here, your sentencing might be death." She said moving to the steps and out the prison.

I looked to Michael who was staring at the floor lost in thought, "You can repent." I said quietly.

His green eyes matched me, "What?" He asked confused and not wanting to talk.

Moving to my textbooks, I grabbed the one on the History of Vangsvere Academy. In there was a law, one that if a vampire repents and chooses to become a student of the Academy then they'll be dismissed of their previous actions so long as they stay on the right path. It's like they serve their sentencing as a student and then a guard.
