I helped Abe coach the guys and they were all picking on Koda for going down so quick, he laughed it off and blamed it on my tiny but strong hold.
'Listen Ace, there's a girl, she's in pain, in trouble. I need you to go to her dorm. Two-seventy thre-... she did it.'
The voice shook me and I looked up at Abe for a while but the sound of the bell shocked me into my legs which moved quicker than I thought they would. I left my bag and everything behind, that voice is real and alive and if they hurt someone I could never forgive myself.
I hurried up the dorms reading the numbers quick before finding the room two seventy three. I gave it a few knocks before turning the knob. Locked.
"Hello!?" I asked frantic but in my own worry, I stepped back and slammed my foot into the door hard. The doorknob fell off and I limped into the room to see the girl struggling with the gashing cut in her throat.
She tried to scream and held tightly to the blood dripping down her neck. It's the girl who's always being bullied, goodness this isn't a life for a young girl.
I've dreamt of her death, of her call for help. Why have I never listened?!
I looked around horrified, not knowing what the hell to do. "Fuck! Fuck! What do I do?! What do I do voice?!" I shouted grabbing a towel and holding it to her neck.
'Let her drink from you. She will heal quicker.'
Oh god, drink from me?!
What nonsense is that? She's choking and gagging blood! How the hell am I supposed to- 'Do it Ace.'
The girls eyes pleaded me and I quickly bit into my wrist placing it to her lips and letting her drink from my wrist.
Everything in me screamed don't, but this girl was dying any moment. I knew listening to a follower of Israfel would be anything but good.
She began drinking more and more before the wound on her neck began to settle and heal itself.
I never knew our blood could do that...
'Only your blood can. This confirms it, you are the chosen one Annalise.'
What? Chosen what?
Taking a deep breath, I fought back the pleasure that filled my vision from her drinking.
It wasn't only a warmth, it was a minty fresh feel beneath my veins like suddenly my blood woke up from a deep sleep. My body felt so light, so calm.
She sat up healed and still drinking from my wrist.
Yet when she pulled away, she took my lips shocking me as she began making out with me. The aura of pleasure faded and I stepped away from her eyeing her neck. "You're healed." I said softly.
She ran a hand over her neck and then eyed me worryingly "What the hell just happened?" She asked curiously.
I shook my head "I have no clue. But you're okay right?" I asked.
The girl gave a single nod and I let out a sigh. "How'd you find me?" She questioned looking to the blood all over the wood flooring.
Looking between her and the blood, I stood "I heard a weird sound." I lied and she nodded.
"Don't ever try to do that again. Please." I said steadying my quick breathing.
She blushed "I didn't think it'd take so long, I was horrified for a moment. It scared me that I would die but before it's all I wanted. I'm sorry." She sighed.
