The knock came to the door and I took a deep breath before opening it up and smiling.

He was on time! Unlike Vlad who stood me up.

My eyes caught on Jameson who was staring down at me for a single moment before looking down the hall and then whiplashing back at me, his eyes running down my face and body.

Well, it's not Michael...I hope I didn't get stood up.

I looked down the hall "Your girlfriend still getting ready?" I asked him leaning into the door sill, he went to say something but stopped and looked behind him moving aside with his mouth agape.

Looking past him, I felt my heart swell, Michael stood with his hair combed back, a white button up tucked into some black slacks and a black jacket. He even wore a tie, and dress shoes. In his hand was a single rose.

His focus went from Jameson to me and then he just stood staring at my face for a few minutes, his mouth slightly agape too, both of their eyes glued on me.

But damn did Michael look good, he smiled wide and looked to Jameson shaking his head "Wow." He laughed nervously looking back at me.

Oh god...

I rolled my eyes "Lets go, see you there Jimmy." I said shutting my door locking it and slipping it into my clutch while holding Michaels arm interlocking my arm with his.

He handed me the rose and I gave it a sniff smiling down at it.

I've gotten more roses from him in the last month than I ever did from any other man "is this one enchanted too?" I asked and he shook his head.

His eyes stayed on me and a small smile stuck to his face. "You have to stop staring at me like that Mikey, someone's going to think I did a spell and made you fall for me." I joked.

He looked away and laughed "Feels like it."

Shut up heart!

We walked into the ball room, it was filled with families and Levi was running around like a madman secretly yelling at people.

"Good kid, bad temperament." Michael said looking to Levi. I laughed and nodded "Highly agreed." I said.

We'd earned a fair share of stares, mostly everyone and I'm sure they all thought the same thing 'Why did he take the blood whore?' Or 'Was she that desperate?'

Either way, I was going to enjoy my night with no judgment.

I walked to one of the tables placing my clutch down and slowly pulling off my white coat. Michaels eyes running down my dress slowly "Anne." He said softly.

Smiling, I placed the coat down and looked up at him "You dance?" I asked.

His eyes moved between my eyes and lips "Sorry Ace, not my thing." He said smirking.

I sat down leaning forward "I won't make you do anything you're not comfortable with. Unless you're uncomfortable with getting me champagne, because in that case I'll tell you to suck it up." I smirked and he winked down at me "One glass coming up."

Watching him head off to the drinks, I bit my lip and tried not to think of taking him right here and now.

Something about a man in a suit, so sexy.

"Michael huh?" I turned and looked up at Bronx, he sat down at the table and Draven followed with Matthias.

I eyed them all "He's a good guy, he just...had a rough start. I'll fix him up though." I said smiling at them and watching them give me small smiles back "As long as you still help us find scraps."
