Kong's POV

"What the fuck Kong! How could you do this to me?"

"Sorry, Nat. Seems like there is a tiny change of plans."

*****************************************************************************************

To fully understand this exchange we need to go back about 5 weeks. And I might have to say the past 5 weeks have probably been the best of my life. Most of us can relate to that one ex who had cold-heartedly dumped your ass and the sweet, sweet perverse pleasure you get when they come groveling back. Begging for you to forget the past and simply pick up from where they nonchalantly dropped you without a backward glance.

But this was not all. Obviously my pleasure is amplified by many magnitudes since my current boyfriend aka the love of my life aka P'Arthit has devised an evil yet brilliant plan to get back at him. Add to the bonus of his underlying jealousy simmering away as we execute the plan, our nights are filled with effusive passions where we spend hours upon hours worshiping each other's bodies. Proving over and over again the depth of our feelings for the other. Well, sometime during the day too when P' catches the overly bright smiles that are flashed in my direction by P'Nat.

Five weeks now since we have been laying out the groundwork. Five weeks since the plan has been in motion. Five weeks since we have pulled out all the stops, of course with the major caveat that I am never closer than 2 feet of P'Nat when we are alone together, to effectively reach the climax of today. Five weeks since Mike, P'Preet, May, dad, inadvertently even Karly, P'Arthit and I have been setting the stage for the final act.

Let's begin with Mike who had inaugurated our plan by reaching out to P'Nat with a 'heartfelt' apology for causing our break up all those years ago and basically opposing our relationship.

"I can't fucking believe I said sorry to the man that broke my tooth."

"And let's not forget crushing my heart."

"Oh shut it, your heart seems all cushy and protected with P'Arthit. I still can't believe he deigned to make a come back after everything."

"Did he buy your apology?"

"Hell yeah! I just had to hint that I didn't want to stand in the way of your relationship and since your little stunt of almost making out with him at office he is beyond confident. I bet he is already imagining all the innovative ways he can spend your money. I can't wait to see in his face when this ends. How are the girls doing?"

While Mike was reaffirming P'Nat's notion that I was once again in the market, ready to be bagged, especially by him, the girls were attacking from a different front. Karly.

Turns out P'Nat and Karly were a match made in heaven. Two peas in a pod. Soulmates. Ideal in every shape and form. Why do I say that? Cause gold digger number 1 had wooed gold digger number 2 in the hopes of a rich, retired married life. Who is number 1 and who is number 2? I don't think even they know since they had both lied to the other about their wealth. And the competition of who is more broke or who has more loans is frankly unwinnable.

Unfortunately for P'Nat he ran into my father only a few hours too late and now the cunning Karly wouldn't give him a divorce since she wanted a piece of the Kong flavored pie. So with skill that might be exclusive to women, P'Preet and May masterfully fed juicy nuggets of gossip for our plan to Karly. Who in turn would excitedly relay it all  to P'Nat.

Then there was P'Arthit. Who spent all day, every day channeling his inner demon by spending every ounce of his energy in bullying us. Making it beyond obvious to any passing stranger that he was unhappy with P'Nat and me breathing the same air. Unhappier still that P'Nat was the cause of him and me not in a constant in a lip-lock. Infact by the time the five weeks were up even I was partly convinced the two of us had broken up. Of course he did spend several hours post work making me remember exactly who my boyfriend was. And since P'Nat was never around to witness that, one can safely assume he believed he was successful in atleast the first step to attaining me.
