Arthit's POV
I was lazing around in bed, scrolling through something random on my phone. Now generally I am pretty good at snatching sleep anywhere and anytime but somehow today I was finding it really hard to shut down my over active brain and catch a few more winks. And all this mainly cause I was too anxious about my date with Kongpob tonight. It is just Kongpob for heaven's sake. What under the bright blue sky did I have to be nervous about. We have been dating for over a week already. We have made out more than once. Hell, I have even gotten dead drunk and naked in front of him, and yet every time I began thinking about tonight my stomach did a backflip. I was still in the middle of debating whether to get out of bed or to try a small nap again when a loud bang nearly shook my front door.
"Preet? And May? What the hell are you doing here?"
"We are here to help you get ready for your date with Kong, ofcourse."
"Wh...what are you talking about?"
"Your date. With Kong. You know, your boyfriend."
"What the hell! He already told you? He was supposed to keep his trap shut."
"He didn't say anything dumbo, you did."
"When did I say anything?"
"Yesterday. Remember when you were grinning like mad man describing Mike and Nat's fight. And then asked if I had any good ideas for a date."
"Why would you assume it had anything to do with Kongpob."
"Cause P'Arthit we have eyes. And all yours seem to be doing is staring at him. Or at P'Nat. If I knew who you reported to I would have totally snitched to your boss that you aren't getting any work done. So who asked who out?"
"Obviously Kong asked Arthit."
"And why is that so obvious?"
"C'mon Arthit, let's be honest here. When have you ever made the first move? So have you guys kissed yet? Is he any good?"
"Well, P'Nat seems to obviously think so. I remember this one time he told me..."
"Alright, enough! We are going to put a hard brake on this conversation. I know what you girls are upto. And you aren't getting any gossip here today."
"Of course we are. That's the payment for helping you with your date."
"I absolutely do not need help with my date. Especially from the two of you. Now will you please leave. I want to take a nap."
"Of course you don't need any help. Not like this is a super important date or anything, what with multiple bees buzzing around your honey, fighting for him in the middle of the street. I guess if you knew anything about their history you would have felt differently. But since you obviously don't us, come May lets go get some breakfast instead."
"Argghh! Fine. Come in."
I was going to regret it. I just knew it. These two imitation cupids were going to land me in trouble. And it's obviously all my fault since I should have never, ever even hinted anything about a date to them. I was already nervous enough about it and here these two were putting all sorts of new fears in me.
"I think we should begin by cleaning your room. And putting away your laundry. Perhaps changing your bedsheets won't be such a bad idea. Don't you have any plants, or flowers or anything to brighten the place?"
"Woah, woah, woah. Why exactly is my house getting a makeover. We are going out for dinner. Out."
"Won't you invite him back for, you know, ..... coffee?"
