Chapter Forty

The Min's resto-bar was the lucky perfect place, Jimin had been performing at one of the resto-bars of Kuya Yoongi's family business.

I still could remember how Mira had literally dragged me to The Min's when we saw one comment mention the place on the live story where the brute was featured. It was a live story of Kim Records, recording label company under Kim Empire which catered famous composers and singers and the top recording label company around the country.

Siguro sobrang na-mi-miss ko na siya kaya hinayaan kong hilahin ako ni Mira at dalhin sa The Min's resto-bar. Kumpara sa Cypher Dos, hindi masyadong mahigpit ang seguridad ng The Min's kahit na bar ito sa gabi, they allowed minors from sixteen years old but activities inside were limited, no wild dancing on the dance floor and hard music playing in the air plus hard drinks only served exclusively to certain people.

The Min's was like the lighter version of Cypher Dos, though both were exclusive only for certain people. Sa Cypher Dos ay mayroong card code ang mga regular goers samantalang sa The Min's ay magpapakita lang ng ID para i-verify ang identification and since Mira and I were privileged people, it wasn't hard for us to get in.

That night, that night it felt like I was watching my whole world hurting.

Naabutan namin si Jimin na naka-upo sa counter at umiinom, mayroong dalawang bouncers sa tabi niya para harangan ang mga taong gustong lumapit sa kaniya—girls, who were probably hoping to have him for the night or maybe forever, and boys, some were older than our age.

It took me a lot of effort not to stand up and pull the hairs of every bitch freaking trying to get my boyfriend's attention. May mga nagtatangka pero walang nakakalapit dahil sa mga bouncers na nakabantay sa kaniya.

I thanked those two big guys, they were doing a good job.

"Omg, can't believe he's here! Nakaka-inis lang dahil hindi ako makalapit…"

Nakatulong sa pagpipigil ko ang mariing pag-iling ni Mira na nasa harap ko kahit na gusto ko nang tumayo at puntahan ang kabilang couch kung nasaan ang mga babaeng obvious na pinag-uusapan si Jimin. And what was with their very wrong facts? Cielo dumped Jimin?

It was like they had counted all the stars dusted in the sky.

One night became several nights, we found out that his night activity was all set for performing at The Min's resto-bar with only one song per visit, a lot was trying to request songs to him but none he actually allowed.

May mga nakilala rin kami ni Mira na mga talent scouts from different recording label companies na sumubok na lapitan siya pero hanggang sa dalawang bouncers lang sila, gusto ko na tuloy kainggitan ang masuwerteng bartender na siyang pinagbibigyan niya lang ng atensyon sa kada makikita ko siyang manghihingi pa ng inumin.

I also wanted to stand up and stop him from drinking, but it would only take all of my sacrifices, all of our sacrifices into a waste so for the following nights, I just stayed sitting on the couch with Mira who was keeping up with me while I watched the love of my life so freaking far from my reach.
