A week has passed since the attack, yet it still feeled like it was yesterday. Everyone was talking about it, they showed footage of me freezing the shooters and Clive electrocuting them, the entire time. Again, they made us look bad. No one mentioned the shooting, they only talked about our attack against the Normals.

I waited for that man to tell the truth about what happened that day, but he still didn't show up on tv. I asked myself if I made the right choice or not, did I make a mistake by saving them? It doesn't matter anyway, everyone would still see the same footage.

People were still protesting but they're with a lot more now. I just looked at the same old news, over and over again. I watched some program to ignore this whole situation when I suddenly saw my face appear on the screen. I closed my eyes and opened them again, hoping this would be a dream. But it wasn't. Others appeared as well, like Clive, Gabe, Theo and even Abigail. They didn't tell our names though, only our prison names. I sighed as I buried my face in my hands, this was bad.

"What's going on?" Gabe asked when he came back inside after his training. Since the attack, we decided to train everyday to make sure we'll be ready for a next one, just in case.

"We're all over the news, that's what's going on." I said as I tapped my foot, I was stressed out. People will notice us now and they will be more careful. They will even turn us in for god's sake.

"Relax, why are you stressing? We're famous!" Gabe said, he didn't worry at all and he was so relaxed about it. He's always an optimist, even when things hit rock bottom.

"Infamous you mean! We have to watch our back now, 24/7." I said while I stood up.

"They should watch their back. God, just relax! Nothing's gonna happen! If they do something, we'll take care of it. Go blow off some steam, Clive's waiting for you outside." Gabe said in a frustrated tone, he didn't like it when people were being a bit too dramatic.

"Sorry, I know I'm overreacting, it's just..." I said looking down, not facing him, "I'm scared".

"We all are, but we'll get over this. We're stronger and better than them, no worries. Now, enjoy your training." Gabe said laughing, he tried to cheer me up, I laughed back as I ran outside, Clive was already waiting in the woods.

"Finally, I was about to drag you out myself if you didn't show up in ten seconds" he said in annoyance.

"Do we really have to do this? I already proved myself, I can totally take enough people down effortlessly!" I said as I tried my best to convince him, "Besides, we have been training every day! I think I deserve a break".

He looked at me with a 'are you serious' look, he didn't like that idea.
"Do you think your opponent will give you a break in the middle of a fight?" That's right, he won't." Clive said as he crossed his arms, he took combat training very serious.

Back in prison, all of us trained everyday to master our Gift. Some trained longer than others, it took me six years to fully master it while Clive needed four years to master his. The men also got combat training, but the women didn't. We were supposed to help them from the sidelines with our powers, that way we would be safe and we'd help them out at the same time. They tought us how to protect ourselves by learning us how to throw some punches and that's about it.

So basically when it comes down to combat, I'm weak. That's why Clive wants me to learn it as soon as possible, so I could protect myself whenever he isn't around.

Arguing with him about this is useless, he walked towards me and stood firm. "Let's begin" he said as he tried to take me down.

We trained for two hours straight and I felt like I was gonna die, my whole body felt sore and I was exhausted. Clive looked tired as well, but he still stood firm and said 'Again". Was he serious? I didn't feel my arms and legs anymore and he still exptected me to stand up and fight him? I stared at him for a few second before I rolled my eyes.
