Savannah sat on the edge of her bed, wrapped in her towel as she eyeballed her outfit for the evening handing on her closet door, sighing deeply as she turned to face the mirror, wondering how dinner with Trey would play out. After spending such a great night with August, she was reluctant to see how his behavior would transpire in front of her. With the advice given by those she felt close to share her plans with, she decided to go into the night with an open mind and see how he acted toward her.

Unwrapping her towel, she let it fall at her waist, grabbing her lotion and body oil, lubricating her skin with the scent of vanilla and brown sugar engulfing her skin. After thinking it over, Savannah settled on a restaurant she had always wanted to go, but didn't have the money, pull, or reason to dine at, deciding no matter how the date went, at least she could get a good meal out of it and knock off a place on her bucket list. Picking up her phone, she scrolled through her list of songs on Apple Music, clicking on her "Getting Ready" playlist, she connected her phone to her Bluetooth speaker and began swaying her hips to the music, walking over to put on her undergarments before slipping on her high waist, olive green pencil skirt and cropped black shirt.

Observing the time, she knew she only had a little over an hour before she had to leave and expect to be there on time. Knots formed in her stomach, worried not only about seeing him, but being seen with him. The last thing she wanted to do was be all over a blog with speculations that she was his new "bae". Time and time again she had watched him make a complete fool out of plenty of women once they were spotted with them, whether intentional or not. Next thing she would see was fans stanning for them, or the opposite, complete disapproval as if he had a thousand mothers who made the call whether one lasted or not. Either way, it was too much for her tranquil lifestyle. Pushing the anxiety to the back of her mind, she continued to get ready, easing her nerves and hoping for the best.

Sitting at the table at Houston's, Trey gulped down his third glass of water, ridding his body of the toxins he had inhaled the night before out of pure frustration and anger. He wasn't sure when his first drug test was scheduled, however he couldn't risk a prolonged probation sentence, or worse, any jail time for a foolish mistake. Glancing down at the time, he knew for once he was early, but only because the thoughts consumed in his mind were too much as he sat at home. He wasn't sure how his behavior had come off to Savannah, hoping he wasn't scaring her away and her silence was that she didn't care or paid his antics no mind.

As he continued to glance over the menu, over the edge he spotted her being escorted by the hostess, making her way over to the table with a small grin. Part of him was honestly surprised she showed up, but he immediately stood to his feet, greeting her with a hug and gentle peck on the cheek as she took a seat that the host has pulled out for her, getting comfortable in her chair before acknowledging him fully.

"Glad you came" he said

"Well, you did invite me" she smirked as he chuckled at her twisted facial expression

"Just...wasn't sure if you were gonna come or dash out on me like before" he joked

"Oh? I'm sure you would've blew my phone up looking for me if I didn't anyway" she shot back, him nodding his head at her quick wit

"Touché, and I'm glad you know that" he said passing her the drink menu

Accepting it, she glanced over it, noticing him staring directly at her, nearly burning a hole into her with his persistent vision. Sensing his stare, she glanced up, wrinkling her forehead to grasp his attention.

"Can I help you?" she asked

"Sorry, you look gorgeous tonight" he complimented

"Thanks, but save all that butter for your bread Tremaine" she said
