A week of Trey consistently in her face, waiting on her hand and foot, even taking on the bulk of the responsibilities for Zoe was a blessing within itself. She had awakened to breakfast every morning, been able to do some prenatal yoga by the pool as the sun blessed the earth each morning. Even Kamyah was getting her out of the house and going for light walks at the park to keep her in shape and stress free.

Adjusting her eyes to the sunlight, Savannah stretched her arms as she lifted up from her warm spot on the bed. Glancing at her phone, she saw the numerous texts, missed calls, and social media notifications wishing her a happy birthday. Stepping into year 26, she couldn't help but think about all of the blessing that had come her way. Pressing her feet into the rug, she grabbed her phone, making her way to the bathroom. Flipping on the lights, she was met by two roses sitting on the counter. Shaking her head, she smiled at his gesture, wondering what else he had up his sleeve.

After relieving herself, along with her other hygienical duties, she headed downstairs to find out why the house was so quiet. Looking down into the living room, she saw the floor covered with balloons everywhere. She figured they weren't in the house because there was no way Zoe could ever be quiet enough for that long, not to mention resist playing with the plethora of balloons like she did on her birthday. Walking into the kitchen, she nearly jumped out of her skin when she heard, "Surprise!" by Trey, Kareem, Kamyah, and Zoe who just screamed instead.

"You guys..." Savannah said clutching her chest

"Took you long enough to come down the steps. You know how many Cheerios we had to give her to be quiet?" Kamyah said

"Sorry. I thought nobody was home. Glad I put on some clothes" Savannah said greeting her best friend with a hug

"Aaah who in this room hasn't seen you naked?" Kamyah joked

"Excuse me, I haven't. Don't get me hurt in this kitchen" Kareem cleared his throat

Kamyah looked over at Trey, who chuckled under his breath, waving at Kamyah, who immediately burst into hysteria.

"Who gonna beat you up, Trey? Speaking up, how's your eye hun?" Kamyah said causing Savannah to hide her face to keep from laughing

"Daaaang Kam. You so disrespectful. She does me the same way man, pay her no mind" Kareem shook his head, taking a seat at the counter

"Anyway, get dressed baby mama. We got a breakfast date and spa reservations so wear comfy clothes" Kamyah said to Savannah

"Sounds fun! My body could use some R&R" Savannah said

"Yea, besides your mans here told me to kidnap you for the day" Kamyah said

"Oh Lord, so what are you doing here Kareem?" Savannah asked

"Helping I guess" Kareem said

Knowing how overprotective Kareem was toward Savannah, she was surprised he would be willing to sit down and work side by side with Trey on anything. However, she felt a talk in the midst. If anyone knew her struggles with her love life, it was him more so than anyone. Even though he liked to joke that Kamyah was closer to her than he was, there were many things only he knew.

"Hmm, behave" Savannah cut her eyes at him before making her way over to Trey, who she greeted with a hug and kiss

"What you mean?" Kareem asked

"You know what she means" Kamyah said

Taken by the gestures, she still had a slight mental block looming over her as she pressed herself against him. Zoe stretched her arms out, babbling for Savannah's attention. Lately the way her back had been hurting, she wasn't able to pick her up and carry her around like she used to. Trey picked her up out of her highchair, assisting her to give Savannah a hug as Kamyah admired from the side.
