"Hey, stop!" she said guarding her faced as he splashed at her
"You tried to pull me in" he said as he took another sip from his bottle of champagne
"Nah, I didn't. I'm so glad I came over by the way. Your house is...wow. You don't get lonely over here?" she asked
"All the time" he smirked
After strong convincing, Ashley decided to take him up on his offer after getting the girls situated for bed. After peeping Savannah's IG story, he could tell she was happy out enjoying a night on the town, possibly with him. He couldn't spend another night stalking her social media and expect to have a healthy outcome, so he focused on getting to know Ashley instead.
"You can't swim, can you? Don't make me have to come in and save you" he joked
"Oh whatever. You should come in with me anyway" she said resting her arms on the concrete above
"Maybe I will" he said placing his phone next to him on the concrete before sliding into the water
Swimming over toward her, he gripped her from behind, wrapping his arms around her waist as he pressed against her while she rested her arms on the landing.
"Oh, so you aren't gonna behave tonight?" she asked
"Should I?" he asked placing gentle kisses on her neck
"You should try. Besides your girls are here. How can you hear them from out here?" she asked
"Baby monitor is by over by the table. Got both cameras on my phone too" he said
"You just think of everything huh?" she giggled
While he had been holding off longer than he usually would, he had been aching to experience her since the moment they met. He enjoyed the getting to know stage, however he was still a man who enjoyed sex, no matter what stage of talking they were in.
"You should stay the night" he said
"Are you serious?" she asked as her eyes shot open
"Yea. You don't have to stay for breakfast or anything. I just...I kinda don't want this night to end soon. Plus, I miss having someone to share that big ass bed with" he said jokingly
"I understand, I just don't wanna overstep my boundaries or anything. I mean, I've never even met Savannah and these are your kids. Would that be okay?" she asked
"It's up to you. I just wanted to extend the offer" he said
While she wanted nothing more than to spend a night wrapped in his arms, she didn't want any issues with Savannah, or come off as disrespectful. She wasn't the type to disrespect anyone's ex just because, and if they had any chance at a future, the last thing she needed was to start off on the wrong foot with Savannah.
"Let me think about it" she said
