"Chloe get down!" Savannah yelled as her dog continued to jump into Trey's lap and lick at his face

"She's fine. Kane tries to do the same thing, except he's old...and fat as hell" he joked as he continued to stroke her back

"Uh oh, she's not gonna let you leave now" she informed him, but he shrugged his shoulders and smirked

"I don't mind. I could get used to this" he said

Savannah felt weird having him in her home, hoping the fact he now had her address that it couldn't backfire later. However, she wasn't trying to be seen leaving is residence either. At least she could have some form of control in her own house, whereas stuck with the predicament she faced last time.

"So, what would you like to do?" she asked grabbing the remote to her 60 inch Vizio smart TV

"I take it you wanna watch something. I don't get to watch too much TV so I couldn't tell you what's on" he said

"I was just picking up the remote. Honestly, I use my TV for background noise. I'm either watching some reality show or listening to BET Jamz. I got a ton of movies if you wanna watch" she offered

"Uh, sure that'll work" he said

Handing him her Firestick remote, she let him browse through the selections, looking into his lap and noticed Chloe had fallen asleep against him as he continued to rub her into slumber. Attempting to pick her up, she instantly began whining, signaling she didn't want to leave her spot, causing Trey to snicker under his breath.

"Better leave her alone. She's comfy" he said looking down at her

"This is surprising honestly. She usually doesn't do well with strangers. Hell, Kamyah still has issues with her and she was with me when I picked her up" she said standing to her feet

"Well, maybe she knows I plan to stick around for a minute" he said

Looking down at him, she noticed him smiling, meeting her gaze as she walked toward her bedroom to slip out of her dress and into something more comfortable. So far, her plan to avoid any sexual contact was working perfectly. Trey was being respectful to her surprise, not even so much as an accidental stroke against her curves. Sliding on her shorts and t-shirt, she walked back into the living room, noticing he still hadn't selected a movie, but scrolling through his phone.

"So, we're not watching a movie I assume" she observed as she returned to her seat

"Oh, sorry. I was checking my e-mail. The search for a temporary assistant continues" he said shaking his head, confusing her as to why he needed a new one

"Uh, don't you have one already? Why do you need another one?" she asked

"Ah, right. Kendall is gone" he mentioned, seemingly coming off unbothered about it

"Huh, why?" she asked

"Wasn't a good fit" he shrugged his shoulders, placing his phone down

Savannah cocked her head sideways, narrowing her eyes in on him and shook her head. She could tell just by his choice of words and uncaring attitude about it that it was more than just a "bad fit".

"Your friend need a job? Isn't she like an assistant or something?" he asked

"Wait, Kamyah?" she asked, erupting into laughter, barely able to keep herself from doubling over as she wiped an imaginary tear away

"She seemed cool" he said

"Oh, Tremaine baby, what is you doin? The way your attitude is set up, Kamyah won't last 2 hours with you. First off, she does less assisting these days since her event planning company took off. Second, you got way too much pride for her. She doesn't like being embarrassed and the way you dragged around that poor girl and talked to her the way you did, Kam will have you dangling off the balcony of your condo" she honestly spoke
