After a relaxing day at the beach, it was back to the airport to catch their next flight to Vegas and enjoy a night on the strip before heading back to Atlanta. Landing at McCarran airport, they were instantly met with the illuminating skyline of the Las Vegas strip as they retrieved their bags and fetched an Uber to their hotel.
"I just love coming here" Kamyah said as she stared out the car window
"I haven't been in so long. Last time I remember being drunk in the club on my birthday, dancing my ass off to Single Ladies" Savannah said shaking her head
"I think we all have an embarrassing Vegas story. I remember me and Kareem decided to do our 21st birthday here with our cousins. They got us so drunk, I honestly don't remember much of that weekend" Kamyah said
"I remember that. I was so salty I couldn't go. Kareem said he remembers literally nothing" Savannah laughed
"I can't say I'm surprised. According to our cousin Shan, I was crying over some nigga and Kareem woke up face down in the bathroom, a mess" Kamyah continued
"Ugh, well this time I need to be fully functioning. The last thing I need to do is come at him on some emotional drunk mess. We're in a good place, don't wanna ruin it" Savannah said
After spending the day Snapchatting and texting Trey from the moment they parted ways earlier, she was becoming more open to the idea of dating him if the subject presented itself. He had expressed to her numerous times about him not getting any younger and needing to settle down. She wasn't sure if those hints were being dropped in her direction, but her "Hell no" was softening to a "Maybe" with each passing day. Love was something Savannah usually tricked herself into believing she didn't desire it. After a failed relationship in her younger years that had taken a toll on her mentally, she pushed away the feelings before they could attack her once more. She was relieved she caught herself before she got too close to August, but she got the idea that Trey was being sincerer with her in his hopes to find love. He too had experienced heartbreak in ways that pushed him away from the idea of loving someone, which helped them relate to each other on a higher level.

"This room is legit! No wonder its damn near $300 a night" Kamyah said immersing herself into the plush queen size bed
"This vanity! Oh my God! Thank you so much Kam. Really, you're a one of a kind friend" Savannah reminded her
"Ah, don't mention it. You know I look out for you. I remember when I was struggling to get off the ground and took that risk to start my own business. You had my back so of course I had to repay you" Kamyah reminded her
"Kam, if it wasn't for you I would've never taken that internship. You really pressed that submit button for me, and even though I nearly chewed your head off for it, look where it got me" Savannah said feeling herself nearing tears as she stared on the window
Taking in the view of the strip below, all of the people enjoying themselves, butterflies formed once again in her stomach. Lately it seemed anytime she thought about where her life was, she got them. So much talk of the future had her eager to see what was next. While she loved working at the radio station, she wanted more out of life. She had been sitting on a mound of ideas on what venture she wanted to tap into next. People had been asking where she was in regards to her whereabouts on YouTube, judging how she hadn't posted a "Savannah Speaks" in a few months now.
"What you over there thinking about Vanz?" Kamyah asked as she leaned up, sliding off the bed to join her side
"Just, life. I guess wondering what my purpose is. All of these things I've been thinking about lately, it seems like now that I'm on my way to turning 26 this year, I need to know what's next? I always said I wanted to start a family and get married before I turned 25. Now here I am, 25" Savannah vented
