Literally tossing the remaining clothing items and random belongings into one large box, he figured he would sort through once he got back to Atlanta. After an unexpected turn in conversation with Helen, he wanted nothing more to do with California. Getting back to Atlanta wasn't looking as uncertain as before. He even found himself craving Savannah's attention more so than before. Constant calls and texts to the point she was questioning if he was feeling okay.

One final walkthrough of the house, carrying Zoe over his shoulder, he thought back at the many memories he shared in the rooms of his Hollywood Hills oasis. Days of his impure past laid rested in the walls, floors, and air of the emptied bachelor pad. Being able to finally close the door on his past, settling into his new way of life, he felt relieved in a way. It was time to start fresh and gain a new perspective on life.

"Ready to get back home Zo?" he asked walking down the steps

Feeling her grasp into his shoulder, he smirked, meeting his realtor at the bottom of the steps. Digging in his pocket, he handed her the keys, placing one final signature on the dotted line. At first, he considered renting the home out, but he knew it would only tempt him to continue to occupy it, or take frequent visits to "check" on the property. He wanted to rid himself completely of residential life on the west coast and focus on his family and reclaiming whatever he could of his career.

"Now Savannah..." Kamyah groaned

"What Kam?" she rolled her eyes as she continued to rock Aubree in her arms

It seemed like if she wasn't at home cleaning, she was at the hospital. Even though everyone said Aubree was fine, it didn't stop her from spending each waking minute with her.

"The nurses even told you to get some fresh air. I know you wanna spend each minute with her, but she's really fine Vanz. You need a night to yourself. Isn't he and Zoe coming back later?" Kamyah asked

"Yes, which reminds me, I still need to stop at the store. We have no food left aside from the leftovers from the baby shower. I've barely been eating honestly" Savannah said looking down at her stomach, listening to it gurgle to be satisfied of its hunger

"Well you need to. You snapped back rather quickly anyway" Kamyah complimented

"If you say so. I still feel pregnant as hell" Savannah said shaking her head

Two weeks postnatal and at least another 3 weeks before Aubree could come home, there was still much to get done in the house. Now with even more stuff filling the home, it was going to be a cluttered mess for a while that she felt would be left to her to do.

"Well, you're not. You need a night out with a good drink, some food, put on something that's not leggings and a t-shirt" Kamyah said

"Oop, is that how you feel?" Savannah scoffed

"Yes, it's exactly how I feel. So tonight, we're getting a drink somewhere" Kamyah stated

"Hmm, now you know he's not gonna want me going anywhere the night he comes back" Savannah reminded her

"I mean, ain't like yall about to be fuckin anytime soon. You still got four more weeks" Kamyah said

"Ugh, tell me about it. Well, whatever. I'll let you know how I feel once I get back home. I know he's gonna be up here tomorrow and probably every day this week. I'm gonna use this time to unpack the rest of his stuff and get everything settled. I've been looking up freelance makeup gigs, trying to put my name back out there, and hopefully this podcast thing takes off soon" Savannah said
