IMEFH - PROLOGUE

Jane Oineza's POV

"Beast!" napahinto ako sa paglalakad.

"OMG! Stop it!" naaasar kong saway kay Benzj upon hearing him screaming to call my attention.

And why he's calling me beast? Oopppsss you got it wrong. I don't look like a beast.

He's calling me beast because I'm his best friend. Yes, you heard it right- because we are really best of friends. He don't want to call me best because it's very common, and that explains the effin call sign.

"What?" I asked nung magkasabay na kaming naglalakad.

"I miss you". he answered.

What the! This guy is such a dork!

"Go to hell" I said.

Tumawa sya. "Hoy Jane Oineza baka nakalimutan mong Values subject ang papasukan natin ngayon? "

"The hell I care Benzj Bautista, eh sa nawawala ang good manners ko pag ikaw kausap ko eh. " I just wisphered the words since papasok na kami nun sa Val Ed Room. It's an advantage din na di kami magkatabi ng upuan ng beastfriend ko. Di na sya nakasagot.

Pero nagvibrate yung phone ko sa bulsa ko saktong pag-upo ko.

Yung tunay mong best friend ang sama ng tingin pagpasok natin. Palibhasa ang gwapo ko at kasabay mo ako. sheeettt swerte mo sa akin beast!

Shet! Pwede masuka? Tiningnan ko sya ng masama without bothering to reply his nonsense.

Ang tinutukoy nyang pinakabestfriend ko ay si Gem Nichole Garufil - my greatest enemy. Tama! Magkaaway kami but not in a way na nagsasabunutan kami or something.

Magkaaway kami because of the fact na highschool life is a competetion. Kami lagi ang magkabangga in the class honors and almost all school activities. But I don't remember her getting ahead of me in everything we competed with.

I'm always the class top 1 and she's a consistent top 2 since first year and now that we're already fourth year. And with that, we never get close.

Lumala pa yun ng may isang gwapong estudyante na lumipat sa school namin just this year, the guy was Benzj.

Agad kumalat nun ang balita na crush ni Nichole si Benzj, pero kahit yata pagdating sa lalake ako pa din ang Top 1. And that was it, After one month of staying in our school, Benzj admitted he has a crush on me.

He courted me but I said NO. The reason was not because I don't like him but because I came from a very OA family.

I don't know what's the right term for our family rule but really, it's so damn old-fashioned. But I don't wanna be the first to break the rule.

RULE: no boyfriend/girlfriend while studying. You can only have one after you graduated from college and got your own money for living.

Bullshit isn't it?

But you can't win an argument with the people who made it through.

He was devastated but decided to be friends with me instead. It was quite awkward for us to be close but friendship works for both of us. It only takes a month or two until Benzj and I considered each other best friends.
