"Allison that's two shots for you!"

"What? No!"

"That's the rules, Allison, you got to do it."

"Absolutely not... you literally just made me take two not even a minute ago." I argued, shoving Ashton's hand away from me.

"Stop! You're gonna spill it!" He chuckled, placing the shot glass down before licking the spilled alcohol from his hand. "It's not my fault you suck at this game."

"She's always been bad at this game." Sara piped up from next to Ashton, smirking my way before tipping her own glass back and downing the rest of it. I watched her as she stood up and disappeared into the kitchen, no doubt going to refill her cup.

"It just doesn't make any sense." I started, ready to defend myself- though the four shots and three mixed drinks I already had were proving to make that hard.

"It is actually the easiest game."

"Uno is not supposed to be a drinking game!" I shrieked, laughing loudly at myself immediately after.

"We made it one two years ago and you still haven't gotten any better." Ashton grumbled, slowly sliding the shot glass towards me. I groaned loudly before picking it up and tipping it to my lips. As soon as the liquid was burning down my throat I slammed the glass back to the floor, only to watch Ashton quick refill it and give me a smirk.

"You're the worst."

"Stop being so bad at the game."

"It's a game of luck! You played the +2 card, what was I supposed to do about that?!" I asked, trying not to laugh as I picked up the shot glass yet again. It burned less this time, but my head was beginning to feel heavy.

"Well you're luck just sucks." Sara said as she came back into the room, tripping slightly over her own two feet before finding her spot right next to Ashton. I watched as she cuddled into him, resting her head on his shoulder. I watched as he wrapped his arm around her to pull her against him tighter, his lips curling up into a wide smile before pushing his lips against her temple. I watched as they both giggled slightly, my stomach flipping and my heart sinking.

"Stop that you two." I basically hissed, the alcohol in my system making it harder to mask my jealousy.

"Stop what?" Ashton mumbled, feigning innocence as he wrapped both arms around Sara in a bear hug.

"Being cute."

"I can't help it. I'm naturally cute."

"Oh shut up Ashton." Sara giggled before pulling herself free of her boyfriend. My eyes caught onto Ashton's long hair as he flipped it, and just for a moment my eyes mistook him for Luke. It was only a second, and most definitely had something to do with the alcohol in my body, but my heart skipped several beats before the words were coming out of my mouth faster than I could stop them.

"Is Luke still with Lexi?"

I watched as both Ashton and Sara froze in their spots. I registered the way both of their faces fell and knew immediately that I wouldn't like the answer. I felt the tears stinging at the backs of my eyes but I used every ounce of strength I had to keep them at bay. If he was happy with her, then I was happy for him.

"Alli-"

"Forget I asked... I didn't- I don't actually want to know." I mumbled, eyeing the glass of vodka that was sitting in the middle of our forgotten card game.

"Alli, it's okay-"

"No, its not. It's none of my business. I-I don't deserve to know.... I think- I think I should go to bed." I whimpered, my legs not moving fast enough to get me out of there. I usually made a point to avoid Ashton whenever he visited- for this exact reason. A quick 'hi how ya doin' every now and then was fine, but I definitely shouldn't have agreed to drink with them. I thought it had been long enough... I thought if I had been strong up to this point, then I could do it.
