The body of a woman lay suspended within the empty darkness. Shadows which had consumed her broken heart for years. A darkness that continued to toy with the sleeping maiden. Her lovely raven locks floating about as of the woman was in zero gravity. Her body slowly turning while a peaceful expression forever lay plastered on her face. The woman for years being submerged into darkness had infact taken its toll on the woman's fragile being. For the fragment of her heart which lay within her. A heart struggling to conserve the hint of light within the woman. Keeping it safe within the darkness. That small fragment of light began to burn brilliantly in the woman's chest.
The light intensifying as it did the night prior, as the heart called out for its other half. Beckoning it to her side before it was too late. Slowly the light began to encase the slumbering woman, unraveling the tendrils of darkness. Which had bound the desperate woman to the darkness, forbidding her from returning to the worlds filled with light. The brilliance of the amber light, slowly began to sleep into the very pores of the woman.
The sudden warmth seeming to almost jolt the woman from her deep slumber. As her thick lashes fluttered open slowly, the evident sleep still in her dull platinum gaze. Her eyes struggling to adjust to the darkness around her. Which upon realizing where she was, the raven haired woman gasped. Before pressing her clasped hands to her still glowing chest. Her gaze still heavily with sleep as she whispered. "Are you still out there somewhere....Terra?" She breathed, her voice barely above a whisper.
Before the tendrils of darkness wrapped themselves around the woman's ankles and wrist. Burning her with their touch as the darkness once again bound the woman. Never wishing to allow her to leave its depths to the woman's dismay. As the darkness pulling the young woman even deeper than she believed possible. Wincing at the sudden roughness, the woman stared straight ahead. Her gaze empty of any hope it had prior,as the darkness once again submerged the woman within itself.
Twisting and turning before the glassy eyed woman, before taking the form of a silver haired Terra. Who's amber gaze mirrored the woman's as a smirk appeared on his lips. Shrouded in darkness the silver haired Terra drew near. Tipping the woman's head back abit with his finger, a sly smile lingering as he spoke. "I can't let you leave just yet." He breathed before pressing his right hand against the woman's bare thigh. His familiar touch sending electricity through the woman's body. Shaking her to the core as she shed silent tears.
Knowing this was simply the darkness taking shape. Hoping to lure her already broken heart into complete submission. One that the woman had allowed herself to wallow within. Memories that were precious to her and once upon of time Terra as well. But this...this was not right. She knew this, and it was time for her to start acting like the warrior she infact was. Forcing back her tears the woman peered towards thw amber eyed Terra whom continued to caress her cheek almost lovingly. And yet deep down in the pit of her stomach, it made her sick.
"Away.." The woman breathed, her voice surprising Terra whom wrapped his arms around the bound woman. Shaking his head no to her demand. "You belong to me, fall even deeper into the darkness with me." Terra breathed as he pressed his forhead against the woman's. His eyes never leaving hers. "My nearly perfect vessel." He ended his words confusing the woman as she released a loud cry. Pleading with the darkness no Terra himself to stop these games.
"Just leave me alone.....I've failed already." The woman mumbled, hope smashed as Terra smirked withdrawing his hand from the broken woman before him. His smirk never fading as the darkness covered Terra, while beside the man appeared an old man. His back was fairly hunchbacked, he was also bald and bore a silver goatee. A smirk evident on the old man's face as he seemed very pleased at the woman's circumstances.
"It appears she is very close to breaking." The old man informed as the silver haired Terra who nodded "Yes although, light still lies within her. It still burns." He stated as the elderly man cackled loudly stating "Well done. It matters not with her broken heart. I will mend it with my own, and our new 13th vessel will be completed." The old man stated as the silver haired Terra bowed before the old man. "Yes, Xehanort." He said with a smile.
As the elder more feeble form of Master Xehanort peered towards the struggling woman before him. Watching as she tugged at the darkness but to her dismay. As she continued to shed tears due to her situation, while the bowing form of Terra smirked towards her. And to this she couldnt help but to cry. Seeing what had happened to her love, and seething with rage when she spotted Master Xehanort. Anger flickering within her as she screamed at him. To Xehanort's glee "Yes, hate me. Hate me more and fall. Mara." Xehanort mocked as Mara sobbed into the darkness knowing that no matter what she did. It would onlt benefit Xehanort.
Would she truly be lost? Just as others have in the darkness?
