The vibrant light which had encased both Riku and Mara, slowly began to lessen its intense glow. Now leaving a mere glowing outline of white light around their feet. Their fingers still intertwined with one another, all the while both Riku and Mara's eyes remained closed. Appearing to be suspended in their private moment in ones heart. Yen Sid watched the two Keyblade Master's, with a small smile forming on his features. Once spotting a smile taking form on Mara's peaceful face. Before as if awakening from a deep slumber, Mara's long lashes began to flutter open. Revealing Mara's vibrant amber orbs, which seemed to be unfocused.

As the young Maiden struggled to regain clarity to her sight. And yet the moment she did Mara was welcomed by the calm bright blue green eyes belonging to the man. He too blinking a few times before becoming aware that he was still indeed very close to Mara. Unconsciously Riku found himself gripping onto Mara's hand abit tighter. Not ready to give up this new connection the two now shared. And yet Riku couldn't help but to turn bright red in embarrassment, the moment he and Mara locked eyes once again.

The two continued to stand in silence, gazing at one another. Their silence seeming to speak for the two Master's. Their eyes never leaving one another, until Yen Sid cleared his throat fairly loudly. Alerting the two that they were no longer alone. Instantly both Mara and Riku retreated from one another. Riku's face as bright as a tomatoe, though he tried to hide it. And then there was Mara who too seemed to be blushing brightly at the silver haired boy.

Shyly Mara turned away from Riku and Yen Sid. Gathering her senses before taking a deep breathe and turning back to the two men. A visible smile on Yen Sid's face as he commended Riku on a job well done. "You have done well Riku. Now we have another Guardian of Light on our side." Yen Sid began as Riku still red bowed his head in respect for the mage. Upon saying this Yen Sid turned towards Mara. Who's back remained turned towards the two men. While Mara struggled to regain her composure, her facr now a bright scarlet. As the maiden recalled the moment she and Riku had shared.

So many emotions bubbling to the surface within Mara's heart. She was happy, no ecstatic to be present in the worlds again. Freed from the dark chains which had bound Mara into the abyss. Keeping her body and a piece of her heart captive. While the other half searched. Soaring through countless worlds. Seeking anothet host. One capable of bearing Mara's unrelenting sorrows she had faced. Someone who could truly understand Mara's trials. Taking a deep breath, Mara turned to meet the gazes of both Master Yen Sid and Riku.

The moment Mara's dazzling gold irises landed on Riku, she could not look away. And neither could Riku. He too feeling drawn into those endless gold pools of hers. Riku's voice becoming caught in his throat, causing the usually calm and collected young man; to become quite flustered. Now stumbling over his words nervously. "A-Anyone else would have done the same." Riku muttered nervously. Upon seeing this Yen Sid couldn't help but to smile. The wise Master already seeing the tale beginning to unfold before him.

One born of weeping darkness, leading to the dawn. Master Yen Sid above all else wished for the Keyblade Master's to live pleasant lives. As no one deserves to be plunged into the thralls of darkness as they had. Brave warriors who combated the darkness with the strength of their hearts. But that did not mean they did not crave normal lives. As Yen Sid was sure that Mara was one of those souls who wished for a life of peace and happiness. And she deserved it and so much more.

Watching the two interact, Yen Sid caught Riku extending his hand for Mara. Almost as if of its own accord, his fingers flexed brushing against Mara's upper arm. Causing Mara's to turn an even brighter shade of scarlet at Riku's touch. Mara flashed a smile. One as bright as the radiance of the sun upon Destiny Island. And it was Riku, and Riku alone. Accompanied by Mara's gratitude, as she turned her body to fully face Riku. Mara now noticing that Riku was quite abit taller than her, as she had to tilt her head upwards to meet his gaze.

Mara's smile forever remaining as she spoke. Her words bringing peace to Riku's rapid beating heart. As the gorgeous woman before him played with a loose strand of her raven locks. Her voice gentle yet within it held the tenacity of a warrior. "You are wrong, not everyone would dive into darkness to mend the heart of another." Mara began as held onto Riku's hand. Cupping his with her own warm touch. "You have my eternal gratitude, and I will never forget what you've done for me." Mara finished as she peered into Riku's azure orbs sighing in relief as she was able to convey her thanks to the mos blushing boy.

Riku swallowed hard, mumbling an "It was nothing!" Before shuffling out of Yen Sid's office in quite the hurry. Mara turned towards the exiting Riku, who closed the door behind him with great force. Upon seeing his hasty exit, Mara's brilliant smile faded away. Leaving a mere memory of the true light in her heart. Already Yen Sid could see the string of fate which connected the two Master's. One a soul unwilling or almost afraid of love. And yet embraces the light of others, but not his own. Then there was Mara. A fractured heart who had fallen for a pawn of darkness. Yet she remained madly in love with her mistake. But even she could not hid the bubbling emotions beneath the surface. Mara's concern for Riku growing.

Hoping to ease her troubled mind,Master Yen Sid advised that Mara retire to her room. Informing the newly awakened Master that she was infact still recovering her past strength and this could take some time. Hesitantly nodding to Yen Sid's suggestion Mara turned on her heels to leave the office. Her heart and body still yearning to be near Riku once more.
