Ventus roamed the brightly colored world called "Disney Town" the young man coming to this world searching for his family. And one of those clues led here where Ventus came across an amber eyed woman. Her smile though when her eyes landed on Ventus was that of one whom had their heart broken. For the once tall and fierce woman Ventus knew on the battlefield was no more. The person that stood before Ventus was nothing but a shell of her former self. Any drive she held now shattered as Ventus ran to her. Asking the silent woman if she was alright. Though the tears that streamed down her cheeks were an answer by themselves. Approaching the distressed woman before him. Young Ventus felt his own tears fall for her. Never truly knowing her feelings for Terra. But now it was clear for all to see. She loved him. With every fiber of her being she did. And his absence perhaps harmed Mara more than even Ven himself.

Hesitantly Ventus extended his hand for the frazzled maiden, her amber orbs overcome with tears before she fell to her knees. Unable to contain the pain she felt, the woman sobbed. She cried out for Terra, begging him to come back to her. To not leave her alone to wander the many worlds without him. And seeing this caused Ventus himself to quietly shed tears. Now certain that the woman who stood before him. Whom he always looked up to as an elder sister, had fallen for Terra. And her heart was aching knowing he was somewhere in these many worlds. In the darkness which seemed to lure him more and more each day without her being near.

Carefully Ventus knelt down to embrace the trembling woman, her sobs never-ending. Tears of anguish like no other erupting from within the woman. So much infact that Ventus began to believe that she would not be able to help him save Terra. Not in her condition. And so with a heavy heart, Ventus released the woman. Slowly raising the to his feet, Ven turned away from the woman. His back to her as he spoke with shaky breathe. " Crying won't bring him back, and I'm going after him." Ventus began now clenching his right hand into a tight fist as he continued. Hoping the tough love that he had learned from those around him would be enough to shake his elder sister from her daze. "We can't just stay here hoping he'll come back. I'm going after him, with or without you." Ventus's harsh words only causing the woman to wallow even more in self pity.

Ventus released a heavy sigh as he began to leave the area in silence. Along with leaving his elder sister whom continued to sob into the air. But not just for Terra but for Ventus as well. Her voice shaky as her sobs continued to form, her hands covering her face as she cried. "Don't leave me alone like everyone else, Ven!" Her cries echoing throughout the entire town. And now into the mind of Sora whom was jolted awake due to the sudden dream. Or perhaps memory as he appeared to be viewing the events through the eyes of Ventus. Slowly sitting up in his bed, Sora soon found a tears rolling down his cheeks relentlessly. Sadness that did not belong to Sora, no but to another.

Sora touched his now damp cheeks before a averting his gaze to the window. Where the moon hung high in the sky above. It was then that Sora whispered a question into the air. "Who's that girl Ven, and why...why are you so sad?" The question lingering in the air, as Sora rose from his bed. Now restless and sure that he would not be sleeping anytime sure. The young man made his way through the long hallways of the tower. Soon hearing shouts coming from a nearby room. Alerted Sora approached the slightly open door to see none other than Riku. Who seemed to be screaming at the woman before him. The moment Sora's eyes landed on the woman his heart stopped. A painful yet joyful sting forming in his heart as he saw her. It was her. The same woman from Sora's dream, he remembered her eyes more than anything.

A beautiful and warm amber hue, one that made Sora think of the sun. But now her gaze was filled with confusion and pain. As Sora noticed she and Riku seemed to be arguing about something very heated. So much infact that the woman tore herself from Riku's grip stating she would be happy to fade into darkness. As long as she was with him. But who was he? To this question something within Sora seemed to cry out. Screaming that she could not fall into darkness again. This strong feeling pushed Sora to open the door fully. Drawing the attention of both Riku and the woman. She was startled of course due to the intrusion, yet the moment her eyes landed on Sora. The woman could not help but to cry tears of joy.

Now seeing in Sora's place the tearful Ven, whom hiccuped at his elder sister. "Ven!" She cried out now running towards the boy who stood in place. Allowing the woman to embrace him, all the while sobbing in his grip. His appearence a blur of two as Riku called out another name. One that Mara was she had heard once or twice before. Sora. A name uttered by Terra once and Aqua. And here Riku was calling out that very same name. Gripping onto the fading image of Ven,Mara pressed her forehead against the boy's. His tears continuing to flow as Mara smiled warmly towards him. Now understanding. He was as she once was. Broken into fragments, and one of those fragments or perhaps more now lay within this boy. Sora.

With her own tears never ceasing Mara whispered into Ven's ear. Hoping he understood her and her intent. "Sora." With a shaky breath breathe feeling a hard tug in her Mara's gut. As a bright light illuminated Ven's body, before his visage dispersed into what appeared to be glass. Leaving in Mara's arms the unconscious body of another boy. One with spiky brown hair and eyes that mimicked that of the sea. This was him. The boy that held Ven's heart all these years while she was away. And Mara was in great debt to this brave young man. Who had to shoulder hardships never meant for him. "Forgive me." Mara muttered to the sleeping boy,as Riku watched the scene unfold. Now truly realizing that the hurt Mara felt ran deep, deeper than he or anyone ever truly knew.
