Unable to sleep with the constant memories of her past seeming to haunt Mara more and more at time went on. The amber eyed woman decided that she should at least put herself to good use. Now dressing in her normal attire, Mara made her way to the indoor training grounds. Now taking her place at the very center of the grounds, gathering her thoughts before extending her right hand before her. As in a glimmering white light formed Mara's new Keyblade "Nèos". The weapon surprisingly light in her grip, almost as if it had been waiting for her. With her Keyblade in hand, Mara then took her battle stance. A mixture of Aqua'a style of combat indeed. Though Aqua herself concentrated on the magic power and grace. Mara's style however was a combination. Mara's right hand gripping onto her weapon tightly before taking a low battle stance.

Though her type of fighting skills were equally split between both physical and magic power. Making Mara indeed a force to reckon with when the forces of dark dared to stand in her way. With those brilliant amber orbs of hers now calm, ready for anything they faced. Mara began with a series of swift strikes in front of her. Battle grunts echoing through the room as she continued the routine. Each time swinging her Keyblade with such grace and force on would believe she were merely dancing. Though indeed she was,her feet swiveling to the right allowing Mara to gather her bearings. Before attempting another assault on the air. This time with her weaker left hand. Something Mara knew she really needed to work on. As her weakness had been picked upon by the enemy before and she would not fail again.

Gritting her teeth Mara skillfully glides a great distance away from her place. Now practicing on parrying strikes from behind her and beside her. Those amber orbs darting back and fourth through these actions. Fully dedicated to improving her skills no matter the cost. Now deciding it was time to test her new Keyblade on a target, Mara swiftly forced her Keyblade into the ground. A low rumble beginning to form beneath her feet as the very earth began to twist and turn. Taking the shape of multiple stone golems at least 7 ft high. These golems roaring loudly after being awakened from their slumber, their eyes set on Mara. Who effortlessly pulled her keyblade from the ground. Now taking her casual fighting stance, Mara right leg in front of the left Abit. All the while she herself held her Keyblade in her right hand. The seasoned warrior preparing to strike the golems down. Though unaware of the fact that she had a visitor.

For the sudden rumble of the earth had awoken Riku, who in truth had not gotten much sleep anyway. Not since the deep dive into Mara's heart. He simply could not shake the fact that the two of them were so similar. Filled with so much pain and anguish which ate away at their very hearts. A darkness that drove them both nearly to madness and into the very pit of darkness itself. And yet here they both stood, the two of them both escaped their darkness and now strove towards the light. Rising from his bed with his hand pressed to his chest Riku recalled the sudden warmth and sunshine that seemed to radiate from Mara after that moment. A warm light that Riku wished he could run towards and allow it's rays to fill him. But deep down something told him no. To ignore these feelings for Mara, to not allow himself to fall for the amber eyed woman.

Someone who was unlike anyone Riku had ever met before. For Mara was someone with true pain and worth. She deserved so much more than she received in life but she was alright with the hardship. She was strong, kind, and held eyes the shade of the brilliant sun. Seeking to warm those that she could with her smile though she hid her own pain. Not wishing to force her pain into others, but still...Riku wanted to know her. He wished to truly know all there was about Mara. Even if something told him it was wrong,Riku just couldn't help himself. It was his heart and it beckoned to be near her. Pained him when they were separate, it was a pain like no other. And Riku wanted no part of it. Pushing pass his pain and the nagging voice telling him  not to. Riku left his room and followed the sounds of battle coming from the indoor training room.
