Quietly nodding her head towards Master Yen Sid in the upmost gratitude, Mara quickly took her leave. The newly revitalized "Keyblade Master" made her way out of Yen Sid's office; the young woman soon finding herself climbing flight after flight of stairs. As thanks to Yen Sid's magic he was able to change the very shape of the "Mysterious Tower". Enabling the slender looking building to hold many rooms including a kitchen, dining room and even a training ground. Both inside and outside of the tower, just in case the other was in use. Silently amazed by just how far the mighty Yen Sid had become in her absence. Mara soon found herself at the door to her room.
The door itself made of intricate stone with lovely hues of gold and white. While a simple handle lay at it's center, taking a deep breath Mara gripped onto the handle. Pulling the slightly heavy door open to be greeted by the soft tinkering of wind chimes. Which framed the fairly large bay window. The room itself indeed matched the door. For white walls stretched around Mara, all the while the top and bottom of the walls were outlined in gold. Closing the door behind her Mara couldn't help to release a happy yet sorrowful sigh. For her room was exactly as she remembered it. The young woman brushing her fingers across the smooth wallpaper, before moving over to her desk.
Matching the room the desk of was a shade of white trimmed in gold. All the while outstretched across the desk were were multiple pieces of jewelry. Ones belonging to Mara, most of these pieces in shapes of stars and moons. Though each was encrusted with pure stones of either sapphire or citrine. Slipping on one of the moon shaped bangles, Mara made her way to her bed. Plopping backwards upon the silk sheets. A reminiscent smile making its way upon her features. As the light and pleasent aroma of lavander forever covered the sheets. A sense of comfort in the scent that Mara could always count on. With that smile of hers still remaining Mara began to relax in her former space. Now realizing that she truly was no longer in that horrid put of black. She was truly free. And it was all thanks to Riku.
A tall and quite a stoic young man, seeming to keep those he cared for at a comfortable distance from him. Something that Mara knew all too well. He was defensive, and yet craved love. A love her once believed he didn't deserve. And why? Because of his brief plummet into darkness Riku believed he desperately needed to redeem himself for his mistakes. Something that Mara witnessed and felt when the two temporarily melded hearts. The two shared something deeper than any ocean. As for that brief moment Mara felt truly at peace. Her body feeling as if it were drifting upon the gentle waves of the sea. It's warm waves embracing Mara with it's loving arms. It was a special type of peace that Mara had never experienced before. And yet it was that moment of pure bliss Mara felt was within the darkness that was Riku. But she was never scared. Mara knew she was safe within the clutches of shadow.
And yet it was that very moment of brief intimacy that drew Mara to Riku. She knew it, she felt it with every fiber of her being. Her very heart crying out to be near the silver haired man that had sheltered it. But these very thoughts and emotions are what brought Mara to silent tears. Feeling as if she were betraying the one person she loved dearly in all the worlds. Terra. For these newly formed feelings for Riku brought both joy and guilt to Mara. As for years she had been solely dedicated to her mission. Saving Terra from the darkness which had claimed him. To save the very man that made Mara's heart flutter. His cerulean orbs always able to unmask Mara no matter how much she tried to hide it.
She loved him more than anything, and desperately wished to deliver Terra from the darkness. No matter the cost, but then there was Riku. The brave young Keyblade Master whom had temporarily became a host for Mara's once shattered heart. Using it's weakened light to guide Riku to Mara where he ultimately rescued Mara from Master Xehanort before he could finish his process of making Mara into one of his vessels. Mara had already begun to feel drawn to the young man, watching his valiant effort to save her. Despite being pitted against Terra whom had been possessed by Xehanort for quite sometime.
