The next morning, the final group departed the hut and as they walked on, slowly but surely they split up until it was just Fallyn, Jinyoung, JB and Jimin.

"Well, this is an odd group," Jimin commented with a laugh. "Never would I ever imagine myself paired up with you guys."

"We were in the same group when we were walking to the hut. What do you mean?" Jinyoung questioned.

"That only happened because things were disorganised. This time things were planned out well and yet I'm still with you guys. I mean, at least Momo isn't here."

"Yeah well, last time you almost ripped her head off and we didn't want that again."

"In my defense, she called me a wolf. And no one calls a werewolf a wolf."

"Doesn't matter what she did. If you killed her, the peace in the castle would have broken and you would be the one to blame. Leo definitely wouldn't take it lightly."

"Peace? Are you witches living under a rock? When has there ever been peace?"

"There has always been peace!"

"Vampires and witches are constantly arguing with each other and werewolves, well, we're silently hating everyone."

"Lies!"

"He's not entirely wrong," JB shrugged. "We're like a typical family. On the outside we seem to have everything under control and love each other but on the inside, we can't stand being in the same room. That's why we all have our own dining halls, areas for bedrooms, dungeons and bathrooms. Peace is like glass. Our peace is a cracked piece of glass which is still trying to stay together and mend itself."

Jinyoung rolled his eyes.

"Wise words from the poet," he uttered sarcastically. "If we are a cracked piece of glass, the only thing keeping it together is Leo and all other witches."

"Are you saying the rest of us don't try? If you have forgotten, werewolves aren't the ones constantly fighting with the witches!" Jimin protested.

"And the reason vampires started arguing with witches is because you guys basically told us to change our personalities to fit with yours. If anything, witches are the reason the glass is cracked!" JB added.

"Is that what you honestly believe? You hypocrites! You guys are the ones who are snapping at everyone for simple things. We are trying to help you guys."

"How? By telling us your way of doing stuff is right and ours isn't?" JB growled.

"If you consider arguing twenty-four-seven right, then yes."

"It's called standing up for your rights!"

"It's called giving everyone a headache so stop it!"

JB rolled his eyes and adjusted his protective gear. The last thing they wanted was a vampire shrivelling up and turning to ashes in the midday sun.

"The first city isn't too far away," Fallyn mentioned once she was sure the argument had died down. "We should rest now and go through it at night. In fact, I suggest we go fast at night and pass all the cities."

"Why night? Why not now?" Jimin asked.

"JB doesn't exactly look... How do I put this? He doesn't look like a convincing human. If I saw him on the streets, I would immediately suspect he's a vampire."

Jimin sighed.

"You're lucky the full moon has already passed."

"So where are we finding shelter?" Jinyoung asked.

"There's a forest not too far from here. It's the perfect place to hide out for now. No one really goes there anymore."

"How do you know this?"

"My parents are hunters. They went to every single forest you can think of and took me on every trip. I also had to study multiple maps of the country in case I got lost when looking for something."

"That's cool... The trees never told me that!"

"Could we get to the place as soon as possible? My legs are starting to cramp up and I need to rest. You can have this conversation there," Jimin interjected.

"Oh right, it's this way," Fallyn said as she led them to the area.
