After school

Jessica, Hannah and Clay walked into Monet's, so they could all catch up. They ordered their drinks and sat down.

"So, do you guys still play music and obsess over The 1975 and Coldplay together?", Jessica asked jokingly, making them roll their eyes.

"Yup. We're in a band together actually. Bakers and Helmets. I'm the pianist, vocalist and drummer, and Clay is the guitarist and vocalist, and we're both songwriters. All we needs a bassist and a proper drummer, cause I can't do the piano and drumming at the same time.", Hannah explained.

Jessica looked down, then back up at Hannah and Clay.

"I think I know someone who can be your drummer.", she said, and Clay and Hannah looked at each other confusedly.

Jessica laughed at them.

"Me! I played drums for a while when I was in 6th grade. I still have my set and I play em from time to time to annoy my brother.", she said, and Clay and Hannah looked at each other and nodded their heads.

"OK. You can come over with us when we're finished our drinks. Show us whatcha got.", Hannah said to her with a smile.

"Its a deal.", Jessica said smiling back.

Hannah's house

The trio went into the music room and Jessica looked at it in awe.

"Is the guitar in tune?"

"I don't know, Helmet, check."

Clay picked up one of the guitars and turned the tuning pegs.

"Guys, this place is amazing!", Jessica said in complete awe.

Hannah smiled at her friend.

"Why, thank you, Jennifer.", she said.

Jessica spotted the drum set.

"Holy shit, guys! I literally only have, like, a toy drum set. This is great!", she said excitedly, sitting on the stool.

Hannah reached into a box in the corner of the room and pulled out drumsticks. She walked over to Jessica and handed them to her.

"Play away, Jezebel.", she said with a smile.

Jessica played the drum beat from the end of Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall by Coldplay. When she was finished, she looked at them and smiled.

"So, how did I do?"

Hannah and Clay looked at her in awe. They then faced each other and whispered in each others ears.

"Welcome to the band, Jess.", Clay said with a smile.

A few hours later

When Clay was gone home, Hannah and Jessica sat on the doorstep.

"So,", Hannah started, Jessica giving her full attention, "when did you know you were bi, if that's not too intrusive?"

Jessica took a breath and started.

"Well, I was questioning around the time we met, and the time I started dating Alex, and we all fell apart, and I acted like a bitch, that was when I came to terms with it. Its a tough thing to navigate. Well, if you want an actual day, not the shittiest thing I've ever done, it was that day we played Never Have I Ever, all 4 of us."
