5 years later
The 23 year old woman looked at herself in the mirror backstage. It was going to be the first concert of her worldwide tour with her band, and she was terrified. Her fellow bandmate, Clay Jensen, was in another room, practicing on his guitar.
"You look amazing, Jess."
Jessica looked beside her and smiled.
"Whatcha doing here, Hannah?", she said with an eye roll.
"Well, its your first concert and I'm on the album cover so I'm just here to wish you luck, and that I love you and you're going to kill it.", Hannah said smiling.
"I can't believe I'm here. 5 years ago, I was 18 and hating my life. Now I'm performing a booked out gig. It's strange."
"You're a talented person, Jess. I knew you could do it. Just promise me one thing."
Jessica nodded her head.
"Play a The 1975 song for the finale."
"We were always going to do that, Hannah."
The two girls smiled at each other. Then, the sound of Clay calling her came.
"C'mon Jess, its time."
Jessica nodded her head and they both headed onstage. The crowd started to cheer. Jessica went up to the microphone to introduce the first song.
"Good evening, everyone! Its officially the start of the F.M.L tour!", she yelled into the mic.
The crowd cheered again.
"So, before we start, we just wanna acknowledge one thing. On this day, the 28th of August 2023, our third member, Hannah, would've been 23 years old. She unfortunately took her own life at 17, and we miss her so much every day. This album, and tour, and hours of work in the studio and rehearsals, is dedicated to her. Hannah, we love you, thanks for getting us started. Now let's get this show started!"
The crowd cheered again as they began playing the first song.
2 hours later
It was time for the last 2 songs of the night. They were going to be covers. Its Not Living (If Its Not With You) and I Always Wanna Die (Sometimes) by The 1975.
Jessica returned to the mic as their drummer, bassist and background singers joined in and Clay began playing the guitar. She began to sing.
Danny ran into some complications
He falls asleep during conversations
