At lunch

"Would you rather, cut off your foot or lose WiFi forever," Jane asked.

"Foot," Austin said.

"Foot," Max said.

"Foot," Jack said.

"Foot," Jonah said.

"Jack's foot," Zack said.

"I can't believe all of you, the foot is apart of us and WiFi.... yeah bye foot."

Owen walked to them.

"Hey Owen."

"What's up man? You're late to lunch."

Owen sat down without saying anything.

"Owen, what's wrong?"

"Don't worry about it."

"When you say don't worry about it, we worry."

"I just don't wanna talk about it."

The bell ranged. He got up and left.

"I've never seen Owen this upset."

"I've never seen him run that fast. Man that boy can run!"

*Plays theme song*

Jonah, Zack, Max, Jack, Jane, and Austin watched Owen reading with his earbuds in.

"Okay this is creepy and stalkerish."

"It really is."

They screeched, turned around, and saw Jay.

"What are you guys doing?"

"Something's wrong with Owen but he won't tell us."

"Okay."

"Go over there and give us information."

"Okay, okay, bossy."

He went over to him and they started talking. Then they started arguing and Owen stormed off. Jay went back over to them.

"Yeah he's not gonna tell me."

He walked away.

"Maybe it's just hormones, he'll be better tomorrow."

The next day

"Zack."

"Yeah."

"He's not even here!"

"Well I'm not a therapist!"

Max ran up to them.

"Guys, Owen's missing!"

"What?!"

"His parents said he ran away from home."

"Oh my God, what if we made it worse!"

"I hope he's okay."

"Where could he be?"

At Jonah's house late at night

Jonah was practicing guitar when someone knocked on his door. He put up his guitar and opened the door revealing Owen.

"Owen?"

"Hi honey I'm home."

"Owen we've been looking everywhere for you."

"Remember when you asked what's wrong two days ago?"

"Yeah."

"Well, my parents are getting a divorce."

"Oh."

"Because they found out I'm gay and my dad is homophobic and my mom isn't and they've been fighting ever since. But then yesterday, when I didn't go to school, it was because my mom left. She gave up on me. Then my dad started coming at me with a baseball bat. So I ran out and hid. I didn't know where to go so when I got there, I came here."

"Owen, I'm sorry."

"It's ok, but, he's looking for me and he might come here."

At Jane's house

Jane was drawing when her phone ranged. She answered.

"Hello?"

"Owen's at Jonah's place."

"Oh thank goodness."

"Come on."

She hung up and went into the hallway.

"Katie wear some pants, no one wants to see that!"

She left.

At Jonah's house

Owen had his head in Jonah's lap while Jonah stroked Owen's hair.

"Jonah, I'm scared."

"Don't be, we'll protect you."

Jane, Zack, Jack, and Max came in and tripped on the carpet. Austin looked at them confused.

"Austin will protect you."

They got up and sat next to them.

"Owen, we'll call the police."

"And you can stay with Zack."

"Why me?"

"Because your brother moved out right?"

"Yeah," Zack said sadly.

"Thanks guys."

"We're here for you Owen, even Zack."

"Not really...but I am...sorta."

"Thanks Zack," Owen said sarcastically.

"I try my best."

Owen threw a pillow at him and they laughed.
